Cuisinart Precision Master 5.5qt Stand Mixer

1st mixer ever and it has not disappointed! I thought it was going to be complicated to work with and it was so easy and quiet!

As the first machine I had was exchanged on warranty due to the motor overheating, this is the second mixer I have had. Sadly, it behaves much like the first. What I thought was a bad motor seems to simply be the way the machine is designed - unable to do what it is supposed to do for more than a few minutes at a time. Mixing a basic bread dough should be simple enough, 2 cups of water and 6 cups of flour, but this thing has the hardest time with it. Once the dough begins to bind together, the mixer begins struggling, and struggling hard. I can watch it get bound by the dough nearly each rotation, and I only have the setting on 3, the lowest of the settings for bread advised in the manual. The motor then begins overheating and risking a shutdown. I have yet to attempt anything else, like cookies or cakes, as I generally only bake bread. Perhaps it works better with things like those but I find it difficult to believe if it overheats with something as simple as bread dough after just 5 minutes of mixing.

Arguably one of the best kitchen appliances I have owned. Baking has never been easier using a stand mixer, especially making dough and cakes. Not to mention, the meat grinding attachment has been extraordinary, making ground beef and sausage packing too easy.

I had a Kitchen aid that had gotten too heavy to lift for me….looking for something lighter and saw this on Amazon…loved the color and the price….and the weight was perfect…have used it more in two weeks than the Kitchen aid in 5 years…it doesn't jump around on the counter…does a great job. The thing I actually like best is the lock on the mixer arm ….very secure - the speeds are easy to use and go from one to another very smoothly….all in all very happy with my choice.

This Stand mixer replaced a Oster mixer that i had for 40 years..I so very happy with the quality of this product and especially the ease of clean up of the stainless bowl. It is beautiful as it sits on my counter and I’m so happy with the way it mixes. I would certainly recommend it to anyone. This was a gift from my son for my birthday.

This mixer has made baking and getting creative in the kitchen so much easier and more efficient. The Baby Blue color is a neutral color and goes great in my kitchen. I love all the attachments that can be used with this machine. The machine is very easy to use and works great!

I own several Cuisinart products, they have lasted for years, beyond my expectations. Love them all. The mixer, I have only used once so far, but it works great. Love the different attachments. I got the red to stand out in my kitchen. I would not hesitate to buy another Cuisinart product. Highly recommend Cuisinart to everyone.

In using the Cuisinart 5.5 quart stand mixer we find that it is powerful, able to handle stiff batters and is very stable when mixing and adding ingredients. A welcome addition to our kitchen.

This mixer is amazing. So far i have used it for cookies and frosting and it worked so wonderfully. Next challenge will be cinnamon rolls!

As a professional chef for 20 years, I really like the sturdiness and the speed selection

I am 71 and an avid baker. I looked at several namebrand stand mixers. I noticed the Cuisinart mixer I purchased was a higher watt than popular name brands in the market for less money. I am very happy with the performance of this mixer. My wish would be that they have an attachment with the rubber sides that would scrape the bowl better and would cut down on stopping and starting to scrape down the sides of the bowl. This is a problem with all stand mixers. I have used other pricey stand mixers in the past and they all do the same thing. Would definitely recommend this mixer to anyone. Thanks Cusinart for making an excellent stand mixer at a lower price that does not disappoint.
