Balancing protein-rich and moisturizing products in your routine is key to strengthen and protect the hair against damage. The more damaged and porous your hair is, the more protein-rich products you should use. Curlsmith Bond Curl Rehab Salve is an intense pre-shampoo treatment, rich in proteins that target hair bonds to strengthen and repair from the inside out.
HOW THE MAGIC HAPPENS:
Our hair is made of a keratin structure, which is reinforced by so-called hair bonds. There are 3 types of bonds that make up the hair structure: disulfide bonds, which are damaged by bleach and chemical treatments; salt bonds, which are damaged by sudden pH imbalance; hydrogen bonds, which are damaged by excess of moisture and heat. Curlsmith Bond Curl Rehab Salve is a powerful blend of superfoods and fortifying active ingredients that targets all 3 of these bonds to repair, rebuild and restore hair fiber strength. It also provides protection to help against further damage.

Inspired by generations of homemade hair remedies, Curlsmith blends fresh curl-loving foods with kitchen cupboard staples and rare ingredients to make premium products that really work. HOW TO USE

Rinse off thoroughly and follow with your favorite Curlsmith Cleanser, Conditioner and Stylers. How often to apply the treatment depends on your hair porosity. To find this out, spray water on clean, product-free hair. High porosity: water absorbs immediately in the hair. Use every 2-3 wash days for 30 minutes. Medium porosity: water forms droplets and then absorbs in the hair. Use every 3-4 wash days for 20 minutes. Low porosity: water forms droplets on the surface of the hair. Use every 4-5 wash days for 15 minutes.

When i say worth every penny, i really mean that. I was hesitant to buy at first bc of the price and some of the reviews but im so glad i did buy it. I have chemical damgage from dyeing my hair too much so my hair has been brittle, breaking off, shedding, and getting tangled really easily for the past couple of months. My curls would fall so easily throughout the day, some parts of my hair would be straight just from me running my hands through it. I thought giving my hair a break from dye would help it but i was still experiencing major shedding and still having that coarse/rough feel to my hair. Used this last night while washing my hair and the next day… omg. I never realized how bad my curl pattern had gotten until i used this. This brought my curl pattern back, has my hair feeling smooth for the first time in a longgg time and has my hair looking shiny and healthy. The shine might be bc i used a curl pomade after washing but nonetheless this product is amazing. It was taking me so long to do my hair in the mornings bc of how much i had to manipulate the curls into coming back, now its a lot easier to style. Usually i hate shrinkage but this is the first time ive been glad to have my shrinkage back! And the shedding is basically gone after one use. Im so used to shedding at LEAST a handful of hair a day and after using this i was so shocked by how much hair i didnt lose lol. When i say i was shedding a lot, i could just run my hand through my curls once and have a couple of strands come out. I touched my hair all day after using this and practically nothing came out. This is the real deal!!

I have super fine, thick, shoulder length hair and got two applications out of the 60ml tube. My curls were quite protein starved and after using this once they coiled much better. This was really lightweight and didnt weigh my hair down either and left it feeling soft and hydrated.

I set my alarm for 15 mins…. while I’m still doing stuff around the house. . it does its treatment . Purchased the rehab slave because my hair was looking dry and frizzy. I’ve only used this twice but I do see a difference to my curly hair. My curls seem more healthy and have a better curly hair shape. Slightly on the expensive side, especially for size of the bottle
