We used this when we camped during Easter. Made all the kids and adults icees. It does not hold a lot of ice, but you can get two 12oz cups from the pitcher.

I love eating crushed ice, this machine has been a god send for me! I will say the best setting “fine” doesn’t work very well. It’s like it can’t catch the ice good enough to shave it. But other than that it works great!

The slushy maker is easy to use, my 6 year old is able to do it by himself, with just a bit of oversight from Mom of course. You can adjust the dial to go from coarse to medium to fine - perfection for whatever you happen to be making. For us adults it's a great way to make all new cocktail experiences! Comes with a serving pitcher. Just a fun gadget that should be in every home.

I have relatively small ice so I'm not sure if the noise is different with large noise but for me it was actually pretty quiet since it's chopping ice. It's quick and easy to clean, I let the ice left in the shaver melt then rinsed it out. It doesn't make a lot in one go but it's easy to add ice to continue to make more, it's great for personal use.

The instructions are simple and it’s a nice compact/medium size that doesn’t take up too much space. Such a fun kitchen gadget!

The fine was a nice powder almost and the medium was just a little thicker. The medium setting shaved a lot faster than the fine setting. It is loud when running. So be prepared. I also crushed ice in my refrigerator options to see if there was a difference, and there was, as those pieces were inconsistent, some being fine and others chunks. So this is a great option.

It’s simple to use and quickly shaves ice into a fine, fluffy texture perfect for snow cones and slushies. It is very compact, making it easy to store when not in use. Also pretty simple to clean. It can be a bit noisy, and you may need to experiment with the amount of ice you use at one time.

It's not heavy and performs very well with 3 different ice shave settings. It's easy to clean up and bring along from place to place. For $40, it performs very well. I will suggest putting a few ice cubes at a time so it doesn't get stuck in the blade. Other than that, we love it!

I don’t know how it will hold up over time, but it could definitely be travel friendly. It’s very easy to use. My kids actually made slushies last night and I wasn’t worried about them getting hurt at all. The only sharp piece is tucked under the top of the machine. You’d really have to work to get to it with your hand. It comes with a recipe book, which has tons of non-alcoholic beverages in it. You’re not stuck with just using the colored flavoring that you buy at the store. Go buy it. I mean, who doesn’t want a frozen margarita while sitting in the sun?
