Q: It says it has dishwasher safe parts, but when I got it, the box says none of the parts are dishwasher safe. So…can it be washed in a dishwasher or not? I’m confused.

A: The parts for the Dash Shaved Ice Maker are dishwasher safe on the top rack of an unheated cycle. As a general rule of thumb, we recommend hand washing the parts in warm soapy water rather than risk them warping or melting in the dishwasher. I hope this helps!

This was a Christmas gift given to me. So far it’s pretty good. However, there is a small in the motor. Not sure if it’s normal because of the first use. Will give it a couple of more terrors to see if smell disappears.
