DaVinci Kalani 4-in-1 Convertible Mini Crib

While this crib is very beautiful and will suit our needs for a crib in a smaller space, it's important to read the fine print. While this crib says in multiple places and in all the pictures that it can be converted into a toddler bed and a twin bed, the fine print explains that to do so, you have to buy the converter sets at an additional price. We're really disappointed, as we thought we were getting all of that in this one particular purchase. Buyer, beware! We assembled the crib without any issues. After 6 months of use, we're still really pleased with it. Since it was easy to assemble, we're not worried about it being difficult to lower the mattress. Good quality wood, all the hardware was included.

Crib is the perfect size for a small room. Arrival in a timely matter. Dislike the crib came damaged. Husband put it together without any issues.

Love it! Perfect size for my one bedroom apartment. My daughter 5months now and she was sleeping in a arm-reach bassinet. Which cost me $200 + and I wish I just purchase the mini crib in the first place. It’s basically the same setup but without the wheels. so I’m able to reach my baby beside my bed and when she able to roll over. I will set it up accordingly to her age.

This was the perfect size for our small space. We used the crib up until baby was around 2.5 then we bought the extra railings to convert to a twin size bed. He's 4 now and we still love it enough to buy another for our baby on the way

My son is 15 months old and the bed snapped. Also he’s able to chew to the wood with his little bottom teeth. Not sure this is safe and disappointed in the quality and safety of this crib.

I absolutely love this crib. I bought this to replace my 4moms bassinet since my son is 3 months old and I did not want him to get use to being rocked. He has adjusted very well. It also fits perfect in my room where I had my bassinet. Setup took a little over an hour but overall pretty simple. I would say the measurements are a little smaller than described but that worked better for me. Purchase the dream on me mattress for the mini crib and it fits perfect.

I'm only giving 4 stars because the wood seems to be a bit delicate. It did arrive without a spot of damage which was awesome, assembly was easy and I love the look and size. My only complaint is that I've bumped an object or two against it already a few times and it has left nicks and scrapes. That shouldn't hold anyone back though from buying this because I feel that it is very sturdy as my husband says, he's satisfied with the safety issue for our son.

I bought 2 for my twins! Have worked great from 6 months the 3 years. I was worried they would grow out of them too fast, but this was not the case. Would recommend to anyone with a small space!

Loved it when first assembled. However, I’ve noticed there is paint missing now at the top of crib wall. Most likely due to my baby teething but he isn’t in the crib other than at night. If crying he is immediately taken out. So trying to figure out how the paint came off that much and that fast. Paint shouldn’t come off that easily.

Great size crib! All the pieces were intact and not a single scratch.

Took about 90mins to assemble with two people but I'm also almost 8 months pregnant so easy instructions and great deal definitely recommend.

I ordered this crib June 11th for my daughter to stay at her grandparent's house this coming weekend. It came today June 17th, I started putting it together and the first thing I noticed is all the hardware is mixed together (manufacture laziness) instead of individually packaged per hardware number/type. This was frustrating because I had to visually use the assembly guide to figure out which peice of hardware was which and arrange them together before I could even put it together. Next I get 2/3 of the way done and I'm on the section to assemble the mattress base. This requires a bolt, some washers, and a bolt cap "H15". One of the bolt caps was defective and not threaded correctly. I tried it on all 4 bolts and it would not fit on any, the other 3 bolt caps were fine. Unfortunately this is a necessary peice and I could not finish assembling the crib. I tried to contact davinci and milliondollarbaby co and could not reach anyone, milliondollarbaby co isnt even taking parts replacement/customer service calls, they direct you to their website to fill out a replacement form So then I try that, and of course the form doesnt work and I tried with 2 different web browsers. Every time I tried to type in the serial number it would delete it and come up with an error. Another option was to contact them via email, it takes 1 to 3 days to respond. I needed this crib for this weekend! I dont have time to wait for days for a reply. I finally went in to the davinci site and saw an option to send a text which I did. I doubt I'll hear from them anytime soon. So far my experience has been terrible. It would help if they would include some spare hardware for these situations. I am now stuck with a partly assembled crib and nothing for my daughter to sleep on this weekend! If I cant get this crib together I am going to have to go and spend more money to buy something she can sleep in, who is going to reimburse me for that!?!?! So to sum it up, bad assembly, instructions are not easy to follow, hardware is all thrown together so you have to sort it which adds to assembly time, very poor customer service that you cannot even reach or submit the online replacement form. What a waste of time and money. If the company does right and reaches out to me to rectify the situation and all of the time wasted and frustration I will edit/update my review. Until then I wish I could give this 0 stars.

I have always loved the kalani. I got a full size kalani for my first baby, and it was just perfect. Now that I have the second, I bought this mini version with the same design. It is SO CUTE!!! It pairs perfectly with the kalani dresser i bought with my first kalani crib. 100% recommend to everyone who has smaller nursery space!
