Almost Perfect - Smells Like Gma

This would be the perfect dry shampoo if it werent for two issues: First and worst issue for me is the smell. I LOVE the minty smell of the other DIVI products, but somehow the smell of this dry shampoo is like minty mixed with…Grandma's perfume? I promise you this smell will not go away either. It lingers with you for days until you finally wash your hair. Its just so unpleasant for me and reminds me of an old lady. Second is the white cast. Soo many dry shampoos claim they don't leave a white cast (when they do!) and unfortunately this is just another brand added to that list. Honestly, if it weren't for the smell I would buy this product again, because like I mentioned, most dry shampoos leave a white cast (especially in my dark hair) so I guess I come to expect it. But I really just cannot with the smell. Smell and white cast aside though, the product worked better than any dry shampoo I've tried, (for reference I usually wash my hair every 4-5 days and use dry shampoo on days 4 and 5 so by then the product has it's work cut out for it), so its unfortunate I can't get over the smell. I even used up the whole can hoping I would eventually get used to Grammy's perfume but I just couldn't do it. Now I'm back to the Ulta site searching for the next dry shampoo to try, wishing DIVI just smelled better :( DIVI, pleaseee make an unscented version, or just a better smelling version, I'm begging you!

    Too White for Brown Hair

    Best Dry Shampoo EVER

This is actually the best dry shampoo I have ever used. It gives the volume im looking for at my root and smells amazing all while keeping my hair looking clean. For those complaning about it being "heavy", I disagree. It gives your hair just enough grit to provide that extra lift it may need. I am a very dark brunette and although it leaves a light white residue, it goes away as soon as you run your hands through it. 10/10 for me.

I love the natural ingredients in this dry shampoo. It leaves my hair looking refreshed and naturally removes the oils, allowing me an extra day before shampooing again.

Horrible scent. I use it when my go to runs out. Makes me hair feel stiff and more like I used hairspray

This formula is unlike any dry shampoo I’ve used before. Light, blends well, and doesn’t give your hair that stiff feel. Love it!

I love the Divi products, but this one missed the mark for me. Product is not light weight, and feels very thick. It leaves a heavy residue in the hair and on the scalp. It also comes out white no matter how much you shake it, or how far away the bottle is from my head. I felt as if I needed to wash my hair again right after using this. I wouldn't recommend.

Worst dry shampoo I've ever used. Terrible white cast and no matter how much I shake it comes out liquid and makes my hair sticky. Mint touch is nice but product is overall bad

Had high hopes for this but it is one of my least favorites. Leaves a white cast on my hair no matter how much I shake it first. It leaves a mess on my brush and my clothes. My hands feel slightly chalky days later from combing through my hair. Doesn't seem to help with greasy separation.

    Switching to Divi Dry Shampoo

I've always been a batiste girl but realized recently I go through the cans so fast. Switched to Divi (because I love Dani Austin, IYKYK) and it is awesome. It is more expensive, but it last SO LONG and the smell is amazing. New dry shampoo found.

This dry shampoo leaves the worst white cast no matter if it's shaken or not, and no matter how close or far it's sprayed. I think it's the worst dry shampoo I've ever tried..

I wanted to like this but i just dont. This left my brown hair looking gray! The white cast is TERRIBLE! I did everything i could to try and tone it down and nothing got the white cast out until i washed. I also dont feel like it did much to make my hair look clean..it just looked gross. I think if youre light blonde or gray it would work for you but not if you have dark hair.

Dont get me wrong, I am looking at 2 un-opened bottles of Divi Volumizing Shampoos right now in my bathroom, but this dry shampoo is SO disappointing. It is so drying, my hair felt so coarse, like a horse tail. The smell is great, and maybe its because I have thinner hair, but I followed the directions on the can and my hair was flaking powder specks all day long. My hair was so disgisting feeling. I have never had this happen with any other dry shampoo i have tried (and I've tried a lot!) I have also tried this numerous times anx got tge same reault each time. When I had blonde in my hair, the dry shampoo was not AS noticeable but I still had powder flecks on my clothes, but brunettes…BEWARE! I think this needs a little more testing on thin hair gals. Now the Volumizing Shampoo..I can get behind that 100% and will not use any other product.

    PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY!!

DIVI is the absolute WORST product line I have ever had the misfortune of using! I stupidly believed the hype and all the (compensated with free product) reviews from people trying to be "influencers" that ALWAYS leave 5-star reviews that gush & rave about every free product they receive in order to continue receiving free products from other companies. I will NEVER EVER MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN! I have spent thousands of dollars to make my hair and scalp healthy and clean after many years abusing it with dyes, heat, and styling products. My hair FINALLY was thick, strong, moisturized, shiny, bouncy, clean (no flaking, itching, or dryness) and very much HEALTHY. I began using the entire DIVI product line and didn't initially notice, but I started losing a small amount of hair. By the time I was 80% done with most of the products, I had handfuls of hair falling out in the shower with even more coming out when I brushed and then I would heavily shed as the day went on! The hair I have left is dry, brittle, broken, frizzy, and dull! Additionally, my scalp is full of small AND large white flakes that are EMBARRASSING! I AM SO UPSET AND ANGRY!!! I brought all of my DIVI products to my dermatologist and she told me to immediately DISCONTINUE USE because these products are the culprit! She told me she has had several other patients come to her after using the DIVI product line who had experienced exactly what I was now going through. She told me she's never encountered a worse product line than DIVI, which is incredible coming from a seasoned dermatologist! I ***wish*** I had consulted with her prior to purchasing a single DIVI product! She suggested I do a little independent research and investigate the DIVI brand as well as the founder/owner of DIVI after I left her office, so I did... and WOW! I AM FURIOUS!! If I had simply looked up DIVI independent of what I believe now are over-hyped, compensated reviews on beauty store sites, I would ABSOLUTELY HAVE NOT PURCHASED THIS JUNK! There needs to be wide-spread exposure about DIVI and its founder! Please DO NOT make the same mistake I did and stay FAR AWAY from the DIVI brand! DIVI is expensive and incredibly over-priced, which is a kick in the teeth on top of everything else - knowing how much money I've thrown away! It's going to cost me thousands of dollars to fix, repair, and rejuvenate my hair once again! PLEASE DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE BEFORE WASTING YOUR MONEY, TOO!
