I've been buying these for years with no problems. The smell was always amazing. I just used a new pack ordered January of this year & they are terrible! I pulled the blanket out of the dryer & immediately smelled acetone! Like hardcore acetone like in a nail salon. I just did another load & now my brand new Lululemon hoodie smells like acetone! I compared the dryer sheets to an old package I found in the garage & sure enough the acetone smell is coming directly from these dryer sheets! This is getting exhausting trying to keep my family safe from all these toxic chemicals manufacturers keep adding & switching up behind our backs! Hopefully this was just a fluke & the old scent will be restored sans acetone smell! Buyer beware!

When I bought these I didn’t realize the sheets came super sized. I thought the box just meant there were more sheets. These cut in half are regular sheet size. They’re great for big dryer loads. They smell great.

I am very unhappy with this new product. The smell is off, almost sour or rotten smelling. My biggest concern though was after using them one time my dryer screen became very sticky. I was worried this might damange my dryer so I stopped using them.

It’s possible this box may have been stored in a less-than-ideal space, which led to this scent change. Regarding residue, your Dryer Sheets shouldn’t lead to this, however, dryer manufacturers and we know that residue can happen periodically through general use. It is a good idea to regularly have your dryer vents cleaned. We suggest using Dawn, hot water and a gentle scrub brush to clean your lint filter. These sheets work great & smell great. These are our favorite smelling sheets ever. Not harsh, doesn’t burn our noses, and not to strong after drying. I can’t stand the gain scents line, & some of those other super strong ones from other brands. This leaves clothes with such a light scent, it’s so nice to not get a headache from it like other brands cause. Who wants a headache from wearing their clothes?not me! This is perfect, Please don’t stop making this scent!

I used to love these dryer sheets. Like the other reviewers, I find the new smell offensive. I tore my laundry room apart looking for the cause of the bad odor to discover it was my dryer sheets!

I buy these often but this recent box bought from target smells mildewed. I had immediately trash them, the mildew smell was so strong I couldn’t even put the box back in my car to return it.

When I first bought these I said nice to have a larger sheet but after a dryer run, I could not smell anything. As a matter of fact my clothes smelled bad. They didn’t smell like this when I transferred them from the washer to the dryer. I thought maybe an old sock got in the dryer. Second load, same thing! This is a huge disappointment as the previous smaller sheet had such an amazing smell to it. What did you do P&G? Bring back the original Calm scent because this one smells like burnt tail and ashes.

I usually enjoy scents of lavender and vanilla but this new box stinks. All I smell is mildew since opening! The clothes do not smell like lavender either. The other scents always smell great.

This product will coat your dryer's ventilation system with sticky wax and cause buildup in the exhaust line. This can cause lint to collect on the vent tubing and sensors of your dryer, causing it to overheat and potentially causing a fire in its exhaust system.

Believe the reviews. These new sheets are sticky and make my clothes sticky. I can't describe the smell, but it is not good. I returned them. :(

Cleaning your dryer's lint filter after every load and occasionally wash the filter in a solution of liquid laundry detergent and water is one of the best things you can do. (1 tablespoon detergent to half a gallon (4.5 liters) of water on a sponge or soft cloth and wipe, then rinse. Hard metal filters can be brushed with a soft brush.)
