I like all wide neck anti colic bottles from dr browns. They are sturdy and my baby loves it. I haven’t faced leakages as yet

The bottle leaks. I do like that the measurements are readable but it’s a bad design. No bueno.

I hate this bottle. I exclusivly use dr brown and thought this would be better for when baby wants more than 4 oz but it leaks like CRAZY! Poor girl is soaked in milk after eating. Not a fan

This is my fifth bottle. Each one fails after about a month of use and starts leaking precious breast milk. Please see picture. I am looking for another manufacturer that has anti colic because it is money that I have to keep throwing away when Dr browns bottles start leaking, it’s also about the frustration of wasted milk and having a to use a full burp cloth soaked each time I feed with bottle.

I bought bottles 3+ years ago for our first born. They are great bottles . I am beyond impressed with the company though. Anyone who travels (or even leaves the house) knows about the travel discs and how helpful they are. They are however, easy to lose. I searched for them anywhere I could and when I reached out to Dr. Browns via their website, they were amazing. They answered me super quickly AND send me a dozen travel discs for free!!! I appreciate good products and even more a great company!
How to reaolve leaking!

I’ve been using these solely and they used to leak a lot until I came across a video of a lady explaining that you don’t shake the milk with the green filter in because it gets into it and seeps out, and don’t warm the milk in the warmer with the filter in. So I add the formula, put the nipple only on and shake it, then reopen it, put the green filter in and have no leaking issues. Same with warming it, I put the bottle in without the nipple or filter then put it all together when it’s time to feed. I swirl the bottle if I need to mix it a little but don’t shake it with the filter in.

Their products are normally great but this one is a fail. All of the bottles of the Dr. Brown's - Options+ Wide-Neck Newborn Baby Bottle all leak no matter what and are a constant mess!
Not leak proof.

I used these bottles for my daughter almost exclusively (4 years ago). I don’t know what they changed but these are the absolute worst now. They constantly leak and are just terrible.

I loved the bottles for the first month, after that they started leaking from under the lid when you set the bottle upright. No matter how tight I tightened the lid it still leaks.

I normally don’t write reviews but I don’t want anyone else to buy these. We have wasted so much milk from these bottles, whether with 5 ounces or 1 in the bottle. If you want milk/formula all over you and your baby, definitely get these.

The bottle was easy to hold and my breast fed baby took to the nipple with ease and is able to go breast fed to bottle and is a happy little guy!

The absolute worst bottle I have ever used and I have 3 kids, so I have used quite a few. This one is by far the worst. During a nighttime feeding I wasn’t paying attention while my baby was eating and I look down and she is SOAKED in Breastmilk. Complete waste of money!

This bottle worked well for my son. We originally were feeding breastmilk and supplementing with formula due to him being under weight and a preemie. We eventually found out he has a cows milk protien allergy and we needed to switch to formula. After working with a spt and ot we decided to try this bottle for my little one. We had much better results with latching and sucking using the wide neck bottles. Only thing we wish is that these bottles offered a transitional nipple like the narrow ones have.
Baby took the bottles easily BUT….

Frustrated grossed out - 3 years ago

No issues with my baby taking the bottle. Went with these because every single doctor recommended them. I use them without the vent system. I first used the glass wide neck, then polypropylene wide neck because my carpal tunnel couldn’t handle the weight. However, I always have to be super careful about screwing the lids on super tightly so they don’t randomly leak. But the biggest negative issue was that almost half of the nipples become covered in a cloudy, slightly sticky and slimy film within a day of washing them — the outside, not the inside. Over half are clear but the rest are not. I always wash immediately, I always scrub with a brush, and sanitize them various ways (boiling & dishwasher) after rinsing, scrubbing with hot soapy water and the cloudy film STILL comes back. Using with breastmilk almost always, with a bottle of formula probably once every couple days but it doesn’t matter, either way it keeps on happening. At this point, I’ve thrown away 2 nipples so far and have 4 more just sitting on my counter (after washing/scrubbing/sanitizing multiple times to see and test how it’ll go away.. which it doesn't), which was fine at first because the set I bought came with so many, but now it’s a frustrating and gross issue. Why?! :(
