Q: Haven't removed from the box yet. Do lights/sounds/horn work once removed from packing? Only yellow toplights working now. I don't want to put it under the tree and then find out it's broken.

This truck is amazingly well built with lots of little extras. There are small parts and also thin parts such as the bin handles, which we've repaired a couple of times with super glue. The main problem is the speaker being right near the front bumper. One good wall hit and the sound stops working. One year later and ours still lights up but has remained respectfully silent.

Poor rear dumper design. The hinge is very small to hold a very heavy rear dumper and easily breaks after few days of use. Truck looks sturdy however support to hold objects like doors etc are very poor quality.

It’s a great toy for my almost 2 year old, however the doors are so odd he keeps getting his tiny little fingers stuck in them. The way the truck bounces back and forth on the wheels also get his fingers pinched. Sometimes the buttons on top don’t work unless you press the horn inside the truck first. Other than that he seems to loves his toy.

My son continuously get his fingers caught in the back latch of the truck. I wish I didn’t throw the box away because I would’ve returned it. The doors come off so easily I bought it not even three months ago and both the firetruck and the garbage truck has pieces missing.

Got this for my 2 y/o son for Christmas. The door broke less than a week into the new year and it hanging on by the hinge mechanism. Seemed like a great quality product, but apparently not strong enough to be played with by curious baby hands. If your kids are like mine and want something that can actually be played with, do not waste your money on this.

The main feature of the truck i.e rotating the knob to pick garbage is not toddler friendly. Too hard to turn for 3yr kids. Quality of material is ok as well and bends easily.

The doors on this garbage truck break so easily. This is our second truck and within a day of the kids playing with it the doors broke again. Pretty disappointed in the quality.

I got this truck for my sons 4th birthday and the trash cans are missing. He was very upset but I already opened it and it’s too much of a hassle to have to return it

Not a bad toy but a little boring. My boy loves the trash truck and has other toys he plays with but this isn’t the best trash truck option. It’s big but the lever to dump trash is lame and it only makes a couple of sounds. I’ve seen better versions for the price.

the hinges on the trash truck and trash cans broke. only one light on the truck works. I am sad i have to return it because my son LOVES it. but now it doesn't work and we either can't use the back compartment or it just hangs on.
