Our eco-friendly makeup sponge is best used damp with liquid, cream, and stick foundations. It provides an even, natural finish on the skin that lasts all day long. The Bioblender features a unique shape with 3 distinct edges for hard-to-reach areas, such as under the eyes, around the nose, and other contours of your face- and it’s made with only compostable ingredients! Superior performance made sustainable. As with all our EcoTools products, this makeup blending sponge is 100% cruelty-free, latex-free, and vegan. I do not like the blender! It is bulky, takes a lot of product, and is not soft like other quality blenders. I’m sad I spent money on it. Don’t buy this if you are used to good quality blenders!

Okay I actually loved this sponge but idk what it is about these but they start to smell after like 1-2 weeks. I’ve tried washing them, treating them with alcohol and peroxide, but nothing helps. I replaced the first one thinking it was a fluke but no. Never had this issue with any other sponge!

Love the shape and texture, but I live in a desert, and after the 1 use it had mold all over it. Things dry here, the shouldn’t have happened. Definitely do not get if you live in a humid place. It was a waste of money, but at least it’ll degrade

I love these sponges! I love how they function, how they feel, and that they are biodegradable. They are faceted on one end to allow for a variety of application techniques and they hold up really well to daily washing and rinsing, and squeezing (and I am NOT gentle with my makeup sponges when it comes to cleaning them!) I have been buying these every month or so for over a year and have only ever had one break on me (I was about due for a new one anyway). I will continue purchasing these for as long as they exist!

I use Makeup sponges everyday, I switched to this product expecting it to be the same as any other sponge. Unfortunately this sponge completely soaks in my foundation and leaves terrible coverage. I will stick with my “Real Techniques” beauty blender.

One of the best beauty sponges out there. Helps blend in your make up without making your skin looking dried out and every little bit of make up is used instead of drying into the sponge. When you’re done with your sponge you can plant it and help reduce trash which I thought was a brilliant eco friendly idea to come up with

Like other EcoTools that I have, I love this makeup sponge. It applies my foundation so well - even when I use different types (liquid foundation or mousse foundation). I normally use the sponge for a few months before replacing, but I love the fact that I can throw it in my compost pile too!

These are my fav makeup sponges. Specifically these purple ones. They are way softer than the other ones in the line and they are perfect for my concealer under my eyes. They are also super affordable and you can get them at places like target and Walmart. Absolutely love these.

I appreciate having a more eco-friendly beauty blender. This is just as easy to use as my prior one, but it is softer and breaks down when I clean it, so it doesn't last as long.

Used to love this as a cheaper alternative to the beauty blender...it was very soft and squishy, but have recently noticed a change. It is now so dense and hard even after wetting it defeats the whole purpose.

I know this is going to sound silly but I love using my beauty sponges dry but this is the only one that works well for me when I wet it. It does an incredible job at blending the foundation seamlessly and I am very happy with it. Will be repurchasing as well as makeup brushes from this brand.

The sponge does a nice application but definitely tears a little when wet/pulled too much. The brand recommends replacing weekly, which feels like a lot, but it’s biodegradable and can be put in regular compost which is great! There are probably better sponges, but this one is good for the environment and works well enough, so it gets my pick!

This is a plant-based sponge infused with rose water to help calm skin & reduce redness while being gentle on irritated skin. I’m impressed! I love it’s biodegradable and contains no chemical dyes only natural coloring. I like the edges for blending and that it doesn’t waste my product. It bounces nice and is super soft when wet.

I bought six of these beauty blenders at once, as soon as I picked the first one, I wet it and when I squeezed it to get the excess water out the water was purple I didn't think much of it so then I started applying my foundation and noticed that it was turning my face Purple definitely wouldn't buy.
