Terrible product and horrible customer service!!!!!!!?!

I love the convenience of having a hot drink at just the right temperature for an hour so that if I get distracted I can come back to my drink without it going cold. It works very well. This is a fantastic product!

Please do not promise and not deliver. The app does not connect, ever morning the mug has disconnected and then you have to reconnect it and even then, you are lucky to have it work. Sometimes pouring fresh hot tea from the kettle and it does not think there is any liquid in the mug. The change the LED colour feature NEVER works. Reset does not work, sometimes the power on and off does not work. My brand-new mug will not hit 100% charge. This is a garbage product, do not waste your time or money on it. ALL HYPE.

After a couple months, but now I can’t get it to connect with the mug. The mug still works without being connected But I can’t turn it off when it’s empty. It would need to go back on the charger. I’ve done everything I can to make it connect. Followed the Instructions in the app and it won’t work. I got this for Christmas, so I’ve had it for two months… We’ll see what future months bring.

Got my mug as a gift, and it works excellent! Just wish it had a light on the left handed side!!!

Absolutely loved this to start. Couldn’t live without it but then they updated their app and ever since it won’t connect or heat. Read the app reviews before purchasing

Got this mug for Christmas (2024). I wasn't sure what to think of it but after the first use, this was awesome! A cup of coffee that's the same temperature from start to finish, very cool!! Over the next few weeks I would experience at least once a week if not more the mug and my phone would essentially forget each other and I'd have to go through the pairing process again. Annoying but manageable. Until today (FEB 18, 2025). The mug no longer turns on/off with the button. I have to use the app (until my phone and mug forget each other again). For something that costs what this mug does, less than 2 months of use before a malfunction is simply unacceptable! I won't recommend this item to anyone in fact I'll tell people to avoid this product!

I got the mug about a year and a half ago now. It was truly a game changer, and easily my new favourite thing at home. Who knew that having a hot drink that stays hot is one of life's small pleasures! That said, there are some things that Ember needs to work out before I could ever recommend it to anyone. The battery life is really poor, and lasts around an hour at best. When you wash it and then leave it with the rest of your cups, it will likely not be charged for your next drink. If you wash it and leave it on the coaster after, it will degrade the battery. After about a year, my cup's battery life was around half an hour. Moreover, after about a year and a half, my coaster failed entirely. One of the charging pins broke and stayed recessed; so the cup would no longer charge. The bluetooth connection to the cup is really hit or miss. I would constantly have to pair it with the app; about once a week. The cup constantly went from charging to not charging when on the coaster as well. I'm not sure if the bluetooth confusion contributed to this. There were a lot of times where I had the cup on the coaster, but after a while realized it was no longer charging; so if I took my time having my drink, it got cold during those times despite being on the coaster. The ceramic coating is not very durable. I primarily have black coffee or an americano, with no sugar or milk. So I never used a spoon or a straw or anything that I needed to stick inside it; only hand washed it too. After about 8 months, the inside of the cup was really worn out, where the ceramic coating was visibly worn off for about two-thirds of the inside. For these reasons, it's an impossible product to recommend; especially at this price and where the warranty is only one year. If you use it every day, something will for sure go wrong sooner than later. I want to love it, but until these things are addressed, we are buying expensive prototypes.

I got this as a gift. I really like it. What would make it better would be if the top edge of the mug and the handle had rounded smooth edges. The current one is feeling more “sharp” to the mouth and hand

I tried a few cheap "Ali" variants that were all poorly made and eventually failed. This Ember is truly the BEST warming mug you can get. Excellent build quality, efficient, aesthetic. It would definitely deserve a solid 5 Star. That is until the App started requiring an Account and credentials. Nobody wants another account (especially for a MUG ?!?). Please make a clear "Offline" option. For this reason, only 4 Star. Will update rating if this is solved.

My second mug just died… I want to love it but the charging pins keep depressing and not holding the charge after about 8ish months of use. Same thing happened with both mugs I had.

The mug is a game changer, perfect temperature coffee from first sip to last is something you don’t realize the magic of until you’ve tried it and then there’s no going back. I wish the accompanying app experience were better, though. It took ages just to get them to add the battery level to the same screen as the temperature level, but in doing so they’ve removed the Apple Watch app so that functionality is just gone, and the phone app has been plagued with connectivity issues since it launched. The mug is amazing, but I expect more on the app side than the buggy and feature reducing experience of late.

I’m away for a few weeks and wish I’d brought it with me!

I LOVE my Ember mug, however the charger no longer works. I've had the mug for about a year..it was a gift. I've never mistreated the charger. It's never gotten wet or been dropped. Now I have this costly mug with no.way to take advantage of the features.

Max temp is 145. If you prefer your coffee to be that of the temp of the surface of the sun, this isn’t it. However, if you’re a reasonable person who enjoys consistent temps, you’ll love it!

Received it as a Christmas present. It lasted 1.5 years. Battery won’t hold charge anymore. I drink 1 coffee a day. I’ll be asking Santa for a coffee cup warmer for next Christmas.

J'adore cette tasse mais après un an elle ne reste pas connectée. Elle ne tient plus sa chaleur. J'ai tout essayer pour la redémarrer, sans succès. Je vais devoir m'en racheter une autre. Pourtant je luis faisais tellement attention. Je ne comprends pas ce qui se passe

Bought this for my Mom and she absolutely loves it! The only issue we’ve ever had is with the Bluetooth pairing. If it hasn’t been used for a day and unpairs with the phone, we can’t just reconnect in the app. We have to “forget device” in Bluetooth settings and start from beginning with the pairing. Otherwise, we love it!

I love my Ember mug! Having coffee at the perfect temperature all morning is amazing. I wish the battery lasted a little longer and sometimes the mug disconnects from the app. But it’s a great product and a game changer for people who love coffee.

Enfin je peux maintenant boire mon café chaud jusqu’à ma dernière gorgée même si cela fait plus de 30 minutes que j’ai versé mon café dans ma tasse. Je suis content de cette achat.
