[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging of the Envelor Coconut Coir Hisk Chips is very convenient. It is not too heavy and easy to carry. The block gets soaked in water and expands. You simply add the amount you need to each plant or can use as mulch. I added the chips to my plants keeping them hydrated and they look very fresh and pretty. Love products that work and make it easier to have a green thumb.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picking up this package was so easy on the back. Yes, it does have some weight to it, but nothing like picking up a huge bag of mulch. It is a square package, so it is easy to hold and not at all awkward. Adding water will make it expand and cover even more area. I love the color of the chips. I do hope that the color is retained with the sun, but only time will determine that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this briaded hibiscus tree for my mother as a Mother’s Day gift. I was also given a. Chance to review this pack of husk chips which were perfect for the tropical flower breed. It was extremely easy to be able to use, I opened the package into my wheel barrel so it can expand properly. Then I just filled the top of all my potted plants that needed to retain moisture. This is the bloom with a few days difference before and after using the husks! I would say be careful don’t use them in all of your plants, be sure to look for the tropical or the ones that need to retain their moisture to bloom and thrive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff is awesome! It expands significantly once water is added. I plan to transfer my orchid in a bigger pot once its bloom is complete. This will be a great alternative to the moss, as it holds water and moisture in without being too wet. Worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am big on gardening so when I received this 10pound organic mulch I was impressed with how big it was co sidering its organic which is pricey, the better part is that it expands when you add water so you don’t even need to use very much this bag can be used for a large area or a very big garden. I give these coconut husk chips 5 stars.
Sustainable and eco-friendly weed suppression

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Envelor is a brand name for a type of mulch made from coconut coir. Coconut coir is a versatile growing medium made from the husks of coconuts. It's a popular choice for gardeners because it retains moisture well, drains well, and is resistant to weeds. Coconut mulch suppresses weeds by preventing their seeds from germinating and by blocking sunlight from reaching the soil. It can also help retain moisture in the soil, which can reduce the need for watering. I'm particularly excited to use it for my tomato planting this year! Tomatoes need consistent moisture, and coconut husk mulch helps retain moisture in the soil, reducing the need for frequent watering. With coconut coir tomatoes don't have to compete with weeds for nutrients and water. It also prevents tomato roots from sitting in soggy soil which can lead to rot. If you're looking for a natural way to control weeds in your garden, coconut coir mulch is a good option but an important thing to keep in mind is that coconut husk mulch is generally low in nutrients. So, I recommend that you amend your soil with compost or other organic matter before planting tomatoes and other vegetables and flowers. For particular plants it's vital to find out what particular needs are required for your choice of garden plant. I highly recommend it for its sustainability. It's a great eco-friendly alternative to traditional mulch. It is however a bit higher in price than regular mulches. One 10 lb block covers about 2 feet of ground and cost around $30.00.
