I also used the coir potting mix to start seeds when I ran out of coir seed starter. It worked almost as well. Seeds seem to sprout faster than predicted.

My plants grew so very well in the planters this year with Coir in the bottom. Easy to use, just place the brick of coir in a bucket with water and when loose, place in a planter. I used one brick for two large planters for tomato plants. I will be using this for almost all plants in the future.
Compact way to buy potting mix.

I had plenty of soil for 3 7" pots. I planted Amaryllis. They are all doing splendidly. I am planning on giving them out during the holidays.
Awesome potting soil! Hardly takes up any space to store.

Simple and easy to mix using a five gallon bucket and about 2 gallons of warm water. The warmer the water the quicker the brick will expand. I find if you put a brick in a bucket and pour warm water on it will expand like a peat pellet. A trowel works good at breaking up the brick.

I love this coconut hull "dirt"! I use it for growing micro greens and I also put it on the top of my herbs and other plants . It keeps the soil off the plants so it's not dirty. It also keeps the moisture in! I love how it comes in a compressed brick". I will use this from now on!

I bought this batch of Eco-co Potting Mix because I wanted to use it to add browns to my compost. In another purchase I bought more of the Super Hot mix to add to my compost to help it process faster. I've been using this product for years and I love it! Makes excellent potting mix too, and you can't beat the weight and size compared to big huge bags of soil from the garden center, not to mention the price!
