Really like the new XP-6100 printer from Epson. My XP-424 went end of life on the ink pads and we had that printer for a very long time. The setup of the printer was pretty straight forward and the quick guide steers you to the right things to do. I have a laptop and I downloaded the install programs. Set up of the wi fi was easy and connection to my phone was great too. Hope this one lasts as long as the last Epson we had.

Worst most problematic printer I have ever owned! Rarely am I able to print something without having to fight with the thing for at least 20 minutes. Ridiculous.

My Epson 6100 is only a couple years old. Every time I use it, I have problems with. This time was the cartridge. I put in a new Epson cartridge. It prints but there is nothing on the paper.

This printer seems to work great ... I've only had it a couple of weeks and a review should be based on the printer's longevity instead of a first impression. Other Epson printers I've had have been very good in the long run. The only issue I've really had in the past is the wireless function failing.

I have used this printer for several years now …. I’m on my second … and just gifted one to my daughter. It is now flawless, but it is great for the price. I use it with three different Apple products, I print photos, small posters, letters, scan LOTS of documents, double sides. Handles different weight papers fine although it can take a little to get used to its personality! Pay attention to the maintenance and the updates, used Epson inks (tried knock offs once - wasn’t worth it) and the Epson photo papers render pretty accurate colors. It does a lot for what it is. Hope it’s still available when I need to replace my current one.

I bought a couple of years ago because of its ability to print on cds and dvds. I do not use it much because it is programmed so that it must use only Epson ink and the ink cartridges die quickly. I think they also die due to aging, This wud be a good printer if it had eco jet technology. But it doesn’t. I have run through three set of cartridges and spent as much on ink as I did fr the printer.

I am an Epson girl! This is my 3rd E printer. What makes me keep returning is the customer service. Bar none, they are the best. The printer works fine, and it is compact so it fits well where I have it. The only bad thing was I was told it took the same ink cartridges as my old 410. I probably had $150 worth of ink that I couldn't use in this one. Very disappointing!

This printer is so complicated! first off, when i got mine the default paper cassette was cassette #1 which does NOT have the standard printer paper 8.5 x 11 format. which i think is an awful design choice ESPECIALLY with how it gives you no instructions to chance which cassette your using. the printer itself is made of really cheap plastic, making it extremely fragile. pretty much every single time i go to print with this printer there is some form of troubleshooting which takes so long to fix. like upwards of 30 minutes just to get a picture printed. my last straw with this thing was the repetitive troubleshooting with my paper cassette being empty even though it wasnt, and i went through every single "fix" provided on the help page. after i went through about the 5-8 things that COULDVE been wrong, every single time i would try to print, it would just turn off. another design flaw about this printer is that cassette 1 dosent have a stopper in place and WILL slide in too far, so when you go to print, it makes this god awful clicking noise and will give you a troubleshooting message. this printer is just STACKED with poor design choices, and fragile, cheap materials. this is my first time purchasing from this conpany, and i will NOT plan on purchasing from this company again.

I hooked it up Dec 17 and printed my first picture , it's an awesome printer. Clarity is great, but I have a Samsung phone that takes great pictures aswell.

after trial and error, really like it now, I think instructions should be written so it is simpler for average person to understand,BUT as I said 2 weeks of trial and error, it is a beauty, I am not normally confused by instructions, so was gave up and called , please just call ask for help as once you are set up it works like a charm, and great pictures, nice color

The printer stopped working after printing about 5 pages. I notmally go with Canon but we purchased it because it was it had a small footprint. Lesson learned, not buying epson again.
