A: I've not had that issue and I'm wearing moisturizer plus sunscreen under my eyes. I don't think you'll have any issues with this. I would suggest keeping a lash comb near by as it can go on clumpy a bit. Overall, really good for a budget mascara!

A: Hi there! This is a great mascara for length and volume but does not specifically have a long wear claim. I would suggest the waterproof version of this as it does not budge!

Q: my mascara came completely unsealed - no plastic wrapper. I have never seen mascaras to be sold this way- this seems entirely unhygenic. Is this hwo it was meant to be sold?

A: Hi GTO Mama! We would recommend trying a micellar water. Apply it first to a cotton pad or round, and then use to remove the mascara. They are typically very gentle and work well. hope this helps!

A: this one is not waterproof but we do have a waterproof version. the waterproof version has blue accents on the packaging instead of the green accents on this one and should say waterproof at the end of the product title. hope that helps!

This was not sealed in any way. The bristles looked clumpy, not smooth like a fresh mascara should look. I suspected that someone might have opened the container a few times to swatch it, and the mascara clumped up on the wand because of that. I looked it up and Essence does not seal any of their mascaras or lip products. This is not something I want to put on my eyes.

I agree that this is a great mascara, especially for the price, but I threw it away after a month because no matter what face wash, eye makeup remover, or makeup eraser I used, it was still on my eyelashes. This is kind of a pet peeve so I wouldn't buy it again

Nice lengthening and stayed on well. What I noticed that over time it began to pull out my eyelashes. So I just use to touch up. Can’t have lashes here and there removed. Stopped buying.

I have been using this mascara brand for years. I try new brands every so often, but I always come back to this. It really gives my lashes volume. It can be difficult to remove but it is worth it. Also, my eyes are very sensitive and I do not have any issues using this mascara.
