Q: My diffuser is brand new just out of the box, why is my remote is not working, already pulled the plastic thingy out and replaced the battery cover and it does not work.

A: Hi Jessica, The base is made from ABS plastic, the inner splash guard and water tank are made from Polypropylene (PP) plastic, and the outer cover is made from glass. These materials are generally considered safe for consumer use.
