essie Gel Couture Nail Polish - 0.46 fl oz

The polish is accurately pigmented, glides nicely on your nail, it's thick, and dries decently fast compared to other brands of gel polish I've tried. First impression: I'm blown away. Interested to see how it holds up. Why did I wait so long to try this! Worth the price.

I’m not very good at doing my nails but have started using this polish which does stay on with the top coat and reapplying the top coat after a week. By 2 weeks, it’s definitely started to chip around the tip and edge of the nail but not an eyesore. I thought Preshow Jitters would be more of a sheer. It looks white to me.

Haut To Trot is a beautiful bubblegum shade of pink. The polish looks just like the picture which is very convenient! Lasts at least 7 days for me without chipping, I struggle with other brands chipping after 5 days. Essie is my favorite brand for nail polish 💅

I love the longevity of this polish and that a quick topcoat will revive the shine! Most if the colors I’ve tried do take at least 3 coats for coverage, and at times that is still not enough.

Salon quality color, always get compliments when I wear it. Only downside is it takes 3 coats for best results. 2 coats and the vibrancy fades and goes dull pretty fast. For a saturated, gel polish look, it’s great. I will now try more from this line from Essie.

Didn't love this. The poolish goes on streaky even after 3 coats.

This is such a cute color! It looks great on, and it lasts well, too! I do add Essie top coat to ensure the longest wear possible, but I've found they can easily last about 2 weeks with minimal damage during wear. The bottle shape is fun, too!

I really like the durability of the gel couture line. I have several colors. This bubble gum shade of pink is just fun for a cute summer color.

Meh. This was pretty thick out of the bottle. Not sure sure if it was old, or just too thick as a formula. Was goopy and as a result very streaky. Two coats, plus top coat. This also took a looong time to dry between coats. Like we’re talking 30+ minutes between coats. Still feels tacky 1.5 hours later. Prepped the nails as well. Clean, dry, and applied light alcohol to dry them. Going to return. Color is fun, but formula is awful.

I currently have two colors from this line, Haute To Trot and Jewels And Jacquard Only, and I wish I had tried the Gel Couture line sooner. This formula is not too thin and not too thick, perfect middle ground.

My spring/ summer go to polish!

I had high expectations for this nail polish. The bottle is stunning and the color is gorgeous but the nail polish is trash. This is by far the WORST nail polish ive ever used. When it dries down it always ways has air bubbles and never a great coating. I thought that this was just due to my poor technique but I had a friend tried and she said the same thing. I do not recommend.

I'm a nail polish connoisseur. I have hundreds of nail polishes. I've tried pretty much every brand on the market, and after the first time using Essie Gel Couture, I never use any of my old polishes anymore. I have thin nails that bend and break and split easily, and I normally only get 1 day of chip-free wear when using my next best polish. Interestingly, Essie regular polish has one of the worst track records in my book. But with Essie Gel Couture, I get at least 5-6 days of beautiful wear. It's sad to let all my old favorites go to waste, but I'll never go back. I also occasionally use LED gel polish at home, but that is labor-intensive and time-consuming. Essie Gel Couture comes off easily with nail polish remover and it actually dries more quickly than standard nail polish - I can even paint my nails shortly before bedtime and my polish doesn't get squashed like standard polish would. My only complaint is that the vivid colors stain my nails (even darker pinks do), but honestly it's well worth the sacrifice. Cheers!

This is one of my favorite colors from the Essie gel couture line. It's a nice vibrant pink but still somewhat more subtle than the brights collection. I really love the color but other shades from their line typically last longer on my nails. This color I usually need 3 coats, so it only lasts about a week before lifting
