My grandson loves to use these to play tag, explore “spooky” dark rooms of the house, or, take on night walks in the neighborhood. He chose to leave one at my house and take the other to his house. The only thing I don’t like is, when they are dropped, which happens a lot w a toddler, they come open and need put back together a lot.

These flashlights do not turn on. They are not reliable. Even straight out of the box, I just purchased them today and they sometimes turn on and sometimes don't.

I like that these flashlights are affordable, last a long time, and come in a two pack. I've put them in several rooms of my house (writing the room name in marker on the flashlight so we know where it goes back to). They are flat on the bottom so you can stand them up toward the ceiling for illumination, or there's a little rest built into it so you can lay it horizontally too. They last a long time, too. We accidentally left one on overnight and in the morning it still had power.

As the other reviewer stated, I also had to shake this flashlight around a bit because it kept cutting out. Then one day I accidentally dropped it and it stopped working completely.
