The UV400 UV light is designed to improve the environment in our bedrooms and has 4 key function that will kill bacteria, eradicate Dust Mites, which are a catalyst for allergies, asthma and general ill health and help you to sleep. There is a degree of sanitizing that occurs with the UV light, that includes killing germs. However we can not specify what germs are killed as it is a broad spectrum, and there are many different types of germs. You would also do well to wash sheets, if this is a bed specific question, in warm water, and if possible use a steamer on the bed pad or mattress occasionally to ensure an even cleaner sleeping surface.
