This handheld vacuum didn't even last 6 months before breaking. The plastic part where you put the attachments cracked 2 months after I purchased it. It was not due to normal wear and tear either, because it was practically brand new. The plastic is very flimsy. I had a previous vacuum like this, and the same thing happened. Unfortunately, SHARK does not stand behind their products and does not abide by the 2-year warranty they states the products have. They will find a way to blame the customer for their poor workmanship. They told me it was abuse of the product, and I didn't take care of it! After hearing that, I explained further, then it turned into, I was told it was, then due to normal wear and tear, and that part of the unit wasn't covered. ( Which in warranty normal wear and tear states, filters are not covered, etc I said I can see if having it for years and it eventually cracks, but just a couple of months?? They are not an ethical company. It was supposed to have a two-year warranty, which I read over before making the call. Because it was cracked up at where the attachment slides in, I could not use any attachments; therefore, it was faulty workmanship!! I won't be a customer in the future. I will not buy another vacuum of any kind or anything from Ninja as well!

Please do not buy I used this for the first time today for 2 minutes before it cut off.

Best handheld vacuum I've found so far. Use it to vacuum up spilled litter from kitty litter boxes. Works great.

Love this vacuum, it's powerful and lightweight. Takes a bit to charge fully but battery lasts long.

The battery only lasted 20 minutes at full charge and didn't pick up most of the small crumbs on my couch.

Took it out of the package and the dust cup clip is defective and doesn’t even hold to the vacuum. Very cheap parts, will be returning. Definitely not worth the money.

This does exactly what I needed it to do! I keep it in a small location and use it daily so I don't have to get out the larger vacuum.

This the second handheld shark vaccum I have purchased. I thought the first one I owned (that the battery wouldn't stay charged) was a fluke. So needing a vaccum I bought this one, Bbut this one now won't hold a charge either. I keep it plugged in when it's not in use. Now it will only stay on for a few seconds then shuts down. The battery is terrible. You can't use it if there is no charge. I am disappointed that at the price I paid it doesn't last longer.

I have several Shark vacs (corded, battery, handheld & upright) and they all work perfectly but each with their own "quirks". The o lyrics problem with this one is that the dust cup won't open when the button is pressed. If I remove the dust cup and press a bit harder on the button it will pop open but not when attached to the vac. This is a nuisance but not a serious drawback to me.

The motorized brush is not a real brush, it's just soft fabric of some kind. It didn't pick up any of the cat fur from the couch even after multiple passes. I'll be returning it as it's useless

Don't be fooled by the claim on the package that says long lasting performance. No where does it state that the product only holds a charge for 10 minutes. Very disappointing! I didn't find this information until I was in the Shark website specifically looking up the item and then found it in the FAQs. Not even in the specs.

I love that it’s cordless and shark. All I buy is shark vacuums, but this vacuum cleaner disappointed me. The dust cup does not eject. The eject button sticks. I have to use a screwdriver to help open the dust cup. I’m thinking it shouldn’t be this difficult. Out of the 7 different shark vacuum’s I have, this is the only one that disappointed me. Thanks!

Charged vaccuum for 6 hours per the instructions. Got maybe fifteen minutes of vacuuming time before the battery went dead. Because the battery ran out in the middle of cleaning, my home is only half-cleaned. Otherwise, great vacuum. Lightweight, easy to use and maneuver in tight spaces and on the stairs. Much more pleasant to use than a regular vacuum around our home.

Just bought this and got it home. Originally went to buy a dust buster, but this was $20 making it a comparable price. I have a couple of other shark products and thought it might be nice to stick with the brand. After unpacking I'm disappointed to see that it's doesn't come with a charging base. Even worse, you'd have to pay $30 to get the charging base from Sharks site. Just seems like an extremely odd thing to not just include with a $100 (albeit $80 on sale) item. Will be getting the dust buster which is $20-40 cheaper and comes with the charging base.

It's super lite which made me think it wasn't going to be powerful enough, was I wrong. My girlfriend thought I was crazy throwing different kinds of cereal,rice and some dry beans on the carpet. Sucked everything right up. Great presnt for her new car.

Very useful for everyday cleaning at home and every where

I was very excited since I’ve owned a handheld shark for many years. It was an older model and corded. This one came in and the waste capacity tank is much much smaller. The roller pet brush (which is a reason I bought this vacuum) hardly works at all. I had better luck without an attachment than using that one. Pretty disappointed in this purchase. But I’ve already used it, so I cannot return the item.

It is a little loud but works well. I like the power brush.

Not as good as I had hoped it would be. My daughter loves Shark, I have used Dyson for years. I have had this unit for just shy of one month. We have two furry family members. One short fur and one a little longer. The motorized self cleaning brush does not due a good job, (back to the tape lift off method). Looking at the literature that came with the unit, I saw that a passive nozzle was listed, that sounded like something I would like. Not available for my model. That would have been nice for fast pickups or the bathroom. Back to my Dyson for that. Found the the scrubbing brush did a better job at picking up pet fur than the motorized pet tool. On the plus side I like how it feels when I use it, the handle is comfortable and the overall weight makes it easy to use. Not sure if I will buy another shark or not at this time.
