Q: The final on one end is securely fastened. The other finial which was included in bubble wrap, just sets onto the end of the rod without hooking on securely. Is there a trick to getting it to securely fasten on the end of the rod?

A: The finial should secure completely on both ends. Not sure without pictures, so I may suggest requesting a replacement unit to be shipped from Target.

Q: How do you get the finials off and on? One is securely attached (can't be removed) and the other one has no ability to attach to the end. Just slides right off and on.

A: Your package should include 2 rods that are the same size and 1 smaller rod. The smaller rod should fit into one end of each of the larger rods. The finials should be applied to the opposite end of the larger rods. We hope you find this info helpful!

Arrived broken. Very disappointed. The crystal balls on both ends are detached and broken from the rods and the ends of the rods are broken as well. Poor packaging.

It feels cheap. It also was in its packaging but the decorative ball arrived completely shattered. Not the glass part, but the base its sitting on that connects to rod.

I LOVE these curtain rods. I was having difficulty finding curtain rods that had beautiful finials and that would also adjust to 130". These are absolutely perfect and the finials are gorgeous. I order 2 sets and one of them was damaged during shipping. Target immediately sent out a replacement and it's perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son broke the curtain rod in the moving rod because we didn’t have a center bracket installed and it had a small diameter. This has a thicker diameter so I could tell right away it was going to be sturdier and more durable. It doesn’t look like it will bend like the previous one. Our living room furniture is black so the black rod really looks nice. I also didn’t want finials that were super fancy because it’s casual living room but I still wanted something pretty. I don’t get to have a lot of decorations out with two toddlers so try to get them in where I can. I don’t think these finials are glass either which is fine by me and the size is perfect. The subtle shimmer from the light hitting the crystal balls is lovely. The brackets are easy to install with a drill assuming you don’t have metal around your window frame like our house does. The previous renters damaged some of that area exposing the metal and the landlord never repaired it which is one reason why I need to keep a curtain up to hide it. I’m very happy with this rod. Our curtains are lightweight, just thick enough to filter out the sun during the day, so can’t speak on how much weight it will hold.

I love the crystal balls on the ends, they almost look like real crystals. I was expecting them to look like cheap plastic crystal so I was pleasantly surprised. Not to mention, the rod fits across my double window.
