FAO Schwarz Fashion Designer Activity Art Set

My granddaughter loved it

Love it in theory. But received multiples of every plate. There is no reason to have duplicates and it just limits the variety of outfits for my daughter to design.

So cute!! My girls love this and I did too! Brings me back to my childhood and love I can do this with my daughters too.

I used to have a set of Fashion Plates when I was little and loved them so seeing these was nostalgic for me! I had to order them for a little one I know and cannot wait to give these as a gift! One quick note: outer package says ages 8 and up but inner insert says 3 and up. Either way, I’d recommend using them with supervision. The first one I received had some manufacturing defects on the plates (melted ring shapes) but the replacement was perfect!

The case is such great quality too and reminds me of a little designer zip up to store all of the fashion designing fun. Love this! Hours of fun fashion designing ahead with this toy.

He is able to do some designs with a little help. The portfolio is really nice to keep it all together and looks like a more adult portfolio. What a great update to a classic toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, when the FAO Schwarz Fashion Plates Designer set arrived in it's lovely pink leather case and I was taken back immediately to my pre-teen self. I had something similar back in the day and to open these was pure joy! My daughter enjoyed these as much as I used to. You still get to put together your fashion looks and then use the colored pencils that come with the set for a complete designer sketch! These are so fun and will be the perfect holiday gift for your budding fashion designer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These is a good set. Let your kiddo explore being a designer! Comes with all kinds of things! If anything, it keeps them busy! I suggest getting a good brand of colored pencils tho. Let them use their imagination and enjoy!

My 7 year old loved it but got bored playing with it after a few days. It would have been better if this set contained a little mannequin and a set of clothing with accessories to try on. The pink leather case is cute.

I would spend hours creating and recreating designs. These do not disappoint, they are very good quality and don’t shift around while trying to color. The case is heavy duty and holds everything nicely. My daughters 9 & 6 love them just as much as I do. I highly recommend them for anyone who has a kid that loves to create!

Using this has been sort of a girls time activity. I love that it comes in a cute leather case to hold everything too!
