Q: Can the diameter of the train track be made smaller? 4 feet is too big for the table I wish to put the train on. I have left all the straight pieces off the track with the exception of one.

I bought this for my sons 3rd birthday. He loves trains and this did not disappoint. He is rough and tough on toys sometimes as he is still learning and this withheld him accidentally stepping on the track at times or knocking the train off the track. I wish it plugged in but We have spent hours watching it go around the last 2 months and have not needed to replace the battery. We put it around our 7 foot tree and it fit great, we didn’t even use all the track. We did take the “ present “ part off one the the cars so he could put some of his own lightweight objects in it. It pops back on when we are done. When he gets a little older we will get a more refined train set but this is a great start and will enjoy it for the next few years.

I bought this for my 7 year old great nephew who is a major train enthusiast. He absolutely loved it. Everything moved exactly as it was described. So glad it came with batteries already installed because I forgot to buy some. This will definitely something he can keep for years.

Was really cute, but the track pieces pretty much break if you look at them wrong. This was intended to replace a set from the 90s and those tracks were actually quality plastic. Should have kept the old one.

Very disappointed. Doesn’t stay on the track and is very hard to get back on correctly. The kids love it but I expect it will be broken by the end of the week.

I was excited to get this for my son, but it is definitely not worth the price. The trains come off the tracks pretty easily and it’s quite loud on the quiet setting. The train feels like it’s made of cheap plastic.
