Perfect pot!

This pot is exactly what I was looking for! It’s sturdy and doesn’t have any coatings that will eventually peel off! That was my issue with the pot that I previously owned. The rim would always heal. I’m very happy with this pot.

I bought this stainless steel stock pot, because Farberware products are excellent quality especially when the life span is more than 5-7 years before buying a replacement. Thank you.

I have owned Farberware pots since 1977 and have needed a larger pot. I was concerned the quality might not be as good as our original pots. Except for the handles the original pots are great. The newer pot (16qt) is made much better than my originals. Excellent quality and excellent value. Would like to know how I could replace the handles on my original pots.

Good, but not up to Faberware's old standards

Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend

First of all, the exterior fit and finish is great! Looks all shiney and new coming out of the box. The machining on inside however is very coarse. And already after 5 or 6 uses to boil pasta there is a little bit of random discoloration--should I say minor staining?-- on the purportedly *stainless* steel. I probably should not expect more for the decent price. The inside of my 40+ year old Faberware pasta pot is unblemished, just by point of comparison. I guess moving production off shore has its costs to consumers as well as benefits to the company.

I bought this to use on my new ceramic top stove. We used it for the first time today to make a huge pot of chili. The pot is perfect. Cooked great - cleaned up great - is a good replacement for our 30 year old stainless pot.

I have been using my mother's old Farberware from the 1960s. They are still usable but I wanted a new set. New ones work as good as my old set. Great value.
Very nice pot, love the bottom of this stock pot

Purchase for a gift. Love the fact it washes up like fine china after cooking salsa for hours. The disk on the bottom allows you to use lower heat to bring it to a boil and simmer foods which reduces the chance of burning your food.

I have this in both sizes but really could use one or two smaller versions such as an 8qt. It is a really modern lid and handle so I don't know why they do not expand this line!

I use my pot for canning! I got one for my daughter in law for a gift. She does seafood boils, and this is perfect! I love all of my Farberware...I have a complete set of pots and pans, electric skillet too! They are probably 25 years old, and they look like new! I use them every day!

I've been using Farberware for many years. In fact, I received my first 4 quart covered pan approximately 47 years ago. That pot is still going strong with almost daily use. However, before moving to Israel 7 years ago my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to new Farberware because we thought the quality was still excellent. What a mistake! My 12 quart covered stockpot now has a couple of small places where the stainless steel has worn through, revealing the dark inner layer. This is the pot I use least often - no more than 5 or 6 times a year. I never mistreat my cookware and keep it very clean. My old pot was (and still is) true quality. No more! How sad!
I would buy this product again and recommend it to others!!
