A: Hi. I am purchasing 2 of these pots because I am tired of making soups, spaghetti sauces, or whatever and having my pots cook over and the food gets on my stove. I have used Farberware for over 30+ years. These pans have never disappointed. Although there are nonstick options, I prefer stainless. If I feel something might stick to my pans, I use an olive oil spray to protect them and keeps my foods from sticking. That's my rule and it makes cleanup quite easy.

I bought this as a Christmas gift, so I can't review that particular purchase. I can tell you that I I have a complete set of Farberware pots and pans, including 8, 12 and 16 quart pots. I have had these for over 50 years. I have been very happy with them. This is the reason I chose Farberware to purchase the requested stockpot and double boiler. The 3 quart pan was a pleasant bonus. He was very happy with my choice, but I don't think he's had time to actually use any of them yet.

At 11 quarts I'm able to cook a lot of different things that might overflow in smaller pots. I used this pot to cook a whole chicken in and it fit great with no overflowing. I also used it to cook yellow rice in and was very happy that there was no sticking at the bottom of the pot. Very pleased with this stock pot!

The large size makes it very convenient for my family and me. I will need to invest in a larger spoon due to the size, but that was near sightedness on my part. While I enjoyed using this, I did. Optics that a few things stuck to the bottom despite constant stirring. It was a little more difficult to get the pot looking back in top form after a few uses. Overall, it's size and functionality make it a great pot to use.

This stockpot is 11" tall, features polished stainless steel, it heats evenly and the lid is great at trapping in moisture. I love the handles, they are easy to grip and gives more stability while carrying the pot. I often cook for a large family and a good quality, high capacity stockpot like this is a huge benefit. There was bottom burning or food sticking to the sides of the pot while cooking. Very easy to clean. The only negative thought I have is "how/where in the world am I going to store this bad boy?!?" Other than that, overall, I love my pot and I highly recommend if you, like me cook for large crowds, love canning or making stews & sauces.

It is very sturdy and I can tell is made with top notch material. It cooks quietly while on my stovetop where others have made alot of noise during cooking time. I would definitely buy the Farberware Classic Stainless Steel 11-Quart Covered Stockpot if given another opportunity and will definitely be looking into buying more Faberware cookware for the future. I would love to have a good set to do my next Thanksgiving family dinner with for sure. I had no idea Farberware made an 11-Quart Covered Stockpot and will be using this for all my soups and boiled lobster meals soon. I would definitely recommend the Farberware Classic Stainless Steel 11-Quart Covered Stockpot to everyone. I decided to boil around ten potatoes with skin for my first use in this pot. It cooked the potatoes just right and in a short time period. No noisy cooking which almost made me forget it. We were eating the boiled potatoes up in no time and in a shorter time than if we had baked them. I've included photos and a short video.

I was kinda hesitant when I pulled the pot from the box, because of the light weight. To my surprise and delight it was a very sturdy pot. The large size allowed me to feed 6 19/20 yr. old hungry men. It did not stick compared to the other pans I have previously tried. It also goes with the rest of my Stainless steel pots. I will definitely be purchasing this product very soon. I think it would make a perfect corn on the cob pot. I will continue to recommend this to pot to my family, friends and social media.

I truly enjoyed having all the space to stir it up as I should, without having it fall on the sides. The one thing I did not truly like are the plastic handles, however, I can totally overlook this detail due to all of the other benefits. I also liked that it was so easy to clean afterwards and didn't stain from the beans like some of my other pans did. Really enjoyed it!

This is large enough for me to make beef stew and larger soups that I fix us often. Our use this for beef stew that I cook for five hours. It cooked evenly and I did not have a whole lot of sticking which are usually have with my regular stock pot that I use. This is the only products from this company that I own but after seeing the quality and how it works I will be purchasing more of this brand. If you are looking for a quality stock pot I recommend this one.

I thought it was very sharp looking, the stainless steel holds up well over time, instead of color enamel that will look worn or or outdated and need to be replaced. I like this pot and I'm glad to have it as one of my practical, very useful cooking utensils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been awhile since I've owned Farberware. I remember my mom's kitchen being stocked with it when we were kids. My current stainless steel stockpot wasn't large enough for some of my soup recipes and this 11 quart filled the void. What I've always loved about Farberware is the simplicity of the design but the durableness as well. This pot holds more than my Cuisinart stock pot but it weighs less, which may not sound like a good thing. But think about filling up a pot this size and then having to move it. The lighter weight construction is a bonus to me! Some people may find it to be cheap but I appreciate that there's not added bulk. We've used this for soups mostly and are looking forward to using it in the spring and summer for a variety of canning projects we'd like to do!
