Description
Heat, boil, strain and pour favorite foods and sauces with this versatile Farberware Classic Series Stainless Steel 3-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan with Pour Spouts. Farberware has been trusted for over 100 years, and this straining saucepan continues that tradition for a new generation. A full cap base featuring a thick aluminum core surrounded by stainless steel provides rapid, even heating, and the heavy-duty stainless steel exterior is polished to a mirror finish for a classic touch. For covered cooking, rotate the self-basting lid to close the holes so heat and moisture stay inside the pan. To strain, simply align the lid's holes with the pan's pour spouts. One side of the saucepan has a shallow, wide spout perfect for straining small items like orzo pasta or baby peas. The other side has a deep, narrow spout ideal for straining bow tie pasta or new potatoes. A comfortable, strong handle provides a confident grasp, making it easy to pour turkey gravy into a serving vessel during the holidays. This straining saucepan also is dishwasher safe and oven safe to 350 degrees F, just like all the quality pots and pans in the Farberware Classic Series Stainless Steel collection. Save time when cooking, straining and pouring using this convenient Farberware Classic Series Stainless Steel 3-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan with Pour Spouts.

Summary of reviews
The Farberware stainless steel saucepan is praised for its durability, perfect size for small portions, and convenient straining lid. Guests appreciate its lightweight design, easy cleanup, and cool-to-touch handles. However, some have noted that the newer models are thinner and the handle may loosen over time. Overall, it is a reliable addition to any kitchen, especially for everyday use.

Enjoyed using my new 2 and 3 qt pots. They replace the Farberware pots that I received as a wedding gift 53 years ago!

I bought this pot to replace a Farberware pot I’d had for 34 years. I love the size of this pot and have trusted Faberware for my whole life. My mom has and still uses the Faberware pots and pans she received as a shower gift before she was married 58 years ago. I love the spout on the side, a new feature to my original one.

Stainless steel pot is sturdy but lid with black knob is kinda cheap. The knob is wobbly and loose, I fear it will break off eventually
Amazing

I love this saucepan! My life has been transformed because of it. It and the 3qt stock pot are the centerpieces of my studio apartment kitchen. Thanks

I love my saucepan with straining lid for cooking hot cereal. Less chance of it boiling over. It’s also great for straining off liquid easily. I have a small Farberware cookset that I’ve used for over 50 years. My new pot is a great addition.

The 1qt pan is a replacement for another pan I've had so long the handle fell off. I am a maple syrup candy maker and use this pan often. Can't wait for the new pan with the thicker handle. Better for my old hands.

Like this pan design. The lid drain helps when draining and when cooking at a simmer. Will enjoy using for a long time

Bought this pan about 1 month ago. It's a cute little pan. However, by using it, the kind of thin and weird shape of the handle does not make it feel comfortable holding the pan. Why doesn't it have a somewhat straighter and thicker handle like most other Faberware pans ? For that reason I would not buy it again.

Tableware is the best. My husband bought this in US and we have used over 47 years and still do!!! The only reason I had to discard some was because domestics used it on high fire with nothing in it! If you care well it will last a lifetime and more! Just placing order for selected pieces that I have lost
Handle Burns

What happened to the quality of Farberware? My mother's collection from 1965 is still in great condition. The pot I bought in August 2024 has had the handle burn twice. Once on an electric range and once on gas range. The fumes are toxic making us feel nauseated and this is very dangerous. Both were cooked on a low and slow flame.
Nice addition to the 2 and 3 qt. pots.

I received a one-quart Farberware saucepan with straining lid for Christmas 2024. After using it twice, the inside bottom of the pan is showing brown markings. It is not the quality of an older saucepan I have.
