I like the ease of use with this product. I carry a little amount in my purse when an item with dairy becomes tempting. Since they are chewable, you don’t need to swallow like a pill. They have a vanilla taste, which isn’t bad. Buying target brand also saves lots of money, and it just the same as buying the more expensive one. Will continue buying!

I don't understand why people are saying it tastes bad. I personally never bought this brand but so far the taste isn't as bad as people say and for someone who hates the taste of medicine this chewable is pretty good for my liking. Only 4 stars because I need more time to try this product.

The new formula is similar to Lactaid Vanilla Twist instead vs regular vanilla. The flavor is terrible. The texture is powder-like and dry, which makes it difficult to fully swallow - it’s sort of like eating a spoon full of flour. If I can’t return the opened box, I plan to throw it away.

It does indeed taste worse than other generics I’ve tried, but that’s not my main issue since it’s only the first bite. This brand simply does NOT work at all compared to others. If the formula was recently changed it needs to be changed back.

These are truly disgusting both in texture and in taste. I can barely chew and swallow it. And it did not work - horrible stomach cramps as a result. Didn’t they test these before selling the new version??? I will have to return these and try some other brand. I would give this all zeroes if I could.

My six year old is lactose intolerant and always preferred the Target brand to regular Lactaid for the taste. He's taken it hundreds of times. I gave him one from a new box and he gagged and nearly threw up. So disappointed. He's too young to swallow pills reliably and we depended on these, but they're so gross.

i hate that they keep the same reviews for the old formula because that one actually was effective. The new formula does NOT work. I’m really bummed because I trusted that this product would work like the old ones and now I’m paying the consequences☹️

So disgusting. They changed the recipe and now it’s like a pill disintegrating in your mouth and it has an awful after taste, almost like lemony but in a bad way. They’re not hard tablets like they used to be with a good flavor. Do not recommend. Isn’t even as effective as they used to be.

These are insanely sweet, and that's saying a lot because I typically like sweet things. The only way to describe them is a strong, artificial French vanilla sugar overload. I miss the old formula. It's so disgusting to eat one of these before cheese; it makes me want to vomit.
