Looks sleek and modern on the counter. Grinds well. Easy to use. But I haven't used other grinders, so I don't know how it compares or if it's a good value since this is a bit expensive.

Love this grinder. Fine enough for espresso and consistent enough grind for perfect pour-overs. Great (and maybe the only) all-purpose grinder in this price-range. Retention isn't as big of an issue for me using RDT. Definitely recommend.

Initially I thought this grinder was great and then less than a month in, it stopped working. I tried reaching out to Fellow but haven’t heard back. It’s very inconsistent and the service is bad. Can’t recommend this at all.

After a month of daily use I can say this is a great grinder. I grind for drip and Aeropress so can’t comment on espresso grind. The hopper can accommodate enough beans for a 40 oz pot, with room to spare. It’s pretty quite, especially compared to an OXO grinder which this is replacing. The hopper lid also functions as a little bellows. One of the best features is the static control. The catch cup is static free! And I live in a very dry climate. I researched quite a while for a new grinder and this one checked all the boxes and wasn’t very expensive. Very satisfied.

I bought the fellow opus because I wanted something that could grind for pour over , aeropress and espresso. So far so good. The unit is quiet and the espresso dosing cup works great. I did have some retention issues at first as I use dark to medium beans. Spraying the beans with water before grinding solved the issue for me. I have everything pretty dialed in and have been making some great lattes

We’ve now had the Opus for about a full week. Initial impressions: build quality is quite good; the design is really well thought through; the grind produced (we do a Chemex pour over) is very consistent; and the grinder is *much* quieter than our previous grinders (which is an important feature for us). Also, it disassembles for pretty easy cleaning. It took us two tries to get the grinder size to where we wanted it. So far, we are really pleased and impressed with our purchase.

The grinder is quite attractive as is almost everything Fellow makes. It's also been working really well. Single doses work better for me than a large hopper as I grind to order and Ode's capacity is more than sufficient for my needs. I bought it with the stock burrs and have been happy with the results. It seems solid and is very simple to use. The receptacle for the grinds positions itself well with the magnet and (if you don't forget to put it in) works well and is neater than other grinders I have used. One small quibble: I love the idea of funneling the grounds to make transferring the grounds easier, but some grounds always seem to get stuck behind the "wings" and a couple of shakes may be required. FYI, the only cleaning I have done has been with Grindz, I have not needed to open it to get to the burrs and I hope it stays that way for a while.

I think it’s pretty good very nice. Looking in the kitchen for sure. Having trouble getting an espresso grind. Also the lid is awkward. I think the lid should have a hinge so that you flip it opened where you pour the beans.

not as great as my first Fellow grinder from a few years ago. probably replaced original parts with less expensive ones. . beans get stuck and have to be manually unstuck.
