Fiskars 6" Lightweight Hedge Shear

It was able to cut thin branches, but my husband had difficulty cutting medium size branches. The shears are light weight, but the blades are not that sharp. The design does not allow for a lot of power or force. There is not a lot of grip on the handle, so it causes your hands to slip.

These are going to be great for maintaining the bushes through the spring and summer! They feel great and comfortable in the hand and they also feel durable! The clippers did a great job at giving precise cuts while also feeling safe to use for beginners.

It cut through them like butter. It's brand new so I can't talk about longevity, but they feel & look well made.

These are super lightweight shears with about 8 inch long blades that are perfect for cutting hedges. I even used these on my spreading rush, and they worked beautifully. I was going to purchase a tool, but I no longer need to purchase a power tool, because I can use these easily. I’m surprised how light these are, but very comfortable to use and just slices through the branches super easily.

They're great for cutting, pruning hedges, small shrubs and bushes. These Shears are just what I needed for my Blooming scrubs I get every Spring in my backyard.. I used it the other day on a small tree that also blooms in the Spring. I used the shears to trim around the tree and it did a great job. I love the fact that they're not heavy and the blades are nice and sharp. The packaging was nice, as the shears were enclosed in a plastic sheild, and I reused it to keep my shears protected until I use again. They're worth the money considering it takes little to no effort to use . I highly recommend these Fiskars Head Shears to anyone who tends to their yard during the Spring and Summer months, and has bushes, shrubs and small trees to trim.

But beyond the looks, they are seriously lightweight, which is fantastic. What I love most is how incredibly sharp they are! They make trimming so easy. And they are just as easy to use. As a woman, I was able to trim a whole bush with absolutely no effort at all. The size is also perfect. A little bigger than I initially expected, but still super manageable and not at all bulky. Overall, these are really excellent shears!

However these are a bit on the heavy side for light trimming. I will probably purchase a slightly smaller pair with the lighter weight wood handles for light duty and use these when I want to really cut back some of my heavier shrubs in the spring.
