The Franklin Sports Junior size Optima Basketball (27.5") lets you handle the ball like a pro. The Optima basketball made by Franklin Sports provides an advanced grip pebble rubber cover with a tacky feel to help you get from one end of the court to the other while keeping your hand on the ball. This 27.5" ball (the official size of men's pro basketball) is made using polyester winding for excellent shape retention and bounce.

He wanted a unique basketball that would stand out from all the original ones at practice. He just happened to be wearing a shirt that matched the ball when he opened the box and was so excited. He plans to use this at every practice. He says it feels nice in his hands and is a very cool color mixture.

Love the light blue and grey color too, very unique! It is that great Franklin quality - sturdy and durable. The kids love playing basketball and were so excited to try this ball. My son says it feels small because he can palm the ball. Other than that, it is a nice ball and the colors are pretty. I haven’t had it long enough to test for durability.
