A: Hi, while our rolls are made to be served fresh from the fridge, you can feel free to freeze any unused portions upon opening. Keep in mind texture and moisture levels may vary after freezing, but this will not change the nutritional value of the food. For any unopened rolls, it is best to keep it in the refrigerator until the sell by date stamped on the package. Hope this helps! - Jillian

Q: Is this a low fat product? My 6pound chihuahua has a super sensitive gi tract and evidently, Gallbladder sludge. He stays on a NO fat/super low fat diet.

Q: My local target has been out of this food for 2 weeks. It's the only food we have found that his stomach tolerates. Is there a way to stock sensitive stomach and skin more regularly?

A: Freshpet dog food is a complete and balanced food formulated for dogs. It should not be fed to cats as the only diet since cat nutrition requirements are different from dogs. It will not harm your cat if fed as a treat or occasionally as a supplemental recipe. But, we would recommend you check with your vet if you are using it as your pet's sole diet. My dog is a pickey eater. She came down with IBS she was put on a DD diet by the vet. She wouldn't eat that food. I've tried this one and she eats all of it. She's not having problems so with her digestion a little expensive but if it works then its worth it.

My two chiwawa’s are 17 yrs old and have a difficult time eating because of their age and they have extremely sensitive stomachs. I heard about “fresh” dog food so I looked and found fresh pet. This is the BEST dog food. My dogs love it, they can eat it without problems and they have had no stomach issues. This is a game changer for my dogs health.

Made my dog sick. Looks like it was frozen solid then left out. My dog got sick the day I started feeding her and after I stopped the next day no diarrhea or sign of upset stomach. She’s never had this before and she has been eating this for 2 years but when the loaf is squishy and fall apart I guess it’s bad.

Ginger is now free of skin itch and diarrhea eating this. Now she is so happy at the age of eleven to have her Burger King treat to keep quiet while I drive. Now to find a hard dry food to keep her mouth and breath clean and fresh
