Doesn't hold its shape well. After less than a year of semi regular use it's pretty compressed in the middle.

Love the size. A tad softer than I thought it would be but still firm enough to help with stretching out my quads and hamstrings. Easy to store

I bought this 10 months ago and don't use it very often (maybe 1-2 times per month). It now has a noticeable dent in the middle so it doesn't roll seamlessly.

This roller is too hard for my sensitive body. Did not realize I could get a softer density. Tried to return it, but the return postage is same price as the product itself, so I am now out over $30.00. Will never purchase from this site again.
Love it BUT...:

My husband and I love this roller. The only downside to it is that we have to purchase a new one every 3-4 months because it begins to dent like others have mentioned and no longer will roll. If the price was cheaper I wouldn’t mind buying it so often, but because of the price point I get irritated every time I have to go purchase a new one.

I bought this b/c I pulled a muscle in my back or have a spasm and rolling on this hard foam roller really helps ease the pain and discomfort. Can be used for other areas of the body too. I recommend - it is on the longer side....but works for my needs

I bought this for my daughter in law who grabs my roller to use whenever she comes to visit. She loves this foam roller. It's long enough and has a touch of give on the surface. She's got back injuries from long ago gymnastics. She rolls on it frequently to release the tensions. Her daughters love it too. Great purchase *review sourced from Gaiam

The Gaiam Restore roller is amazing at getting out all the knots and sore spots after a good workout. Even before a good workout, its great for streching and warming up. I am definitely glad I invested in getting a new roller, especially one as versatile as this one.

I bought this foam roller about 4-5 months ago and it has started to warp. I’ve used about everyday sine I bought it. Was expecting it to last at least a year. Other than that experience with the foam roller is great. Videos gaiam makes for the foam roller have been fantastic since I had no clue what I was doing at first.
Get one- its worth it.

So far so good. My husband and I both have been using it to roll out back and leg muscles. Seems effective. I thought it was a bit expensive, but hadn't really looked anywhere else, and I really didn't even know what to expect as it was recommended to me by a massage therapist for tendonitis in the it band (I'd never heard of a foam roller before the recommendation). Seems to be good quality. It is very firm.
