It may help to know a lack of suds doesn't mean the soap isn't working, in fact, the solution in the water will carry on cleaning the dishes. Remember, using a scouring pad or washing a lot of extra greasy dishes can make the suds disappear more rapidly. In this case, use more dishwashing liquid. You also need to use more liquid if you have hard water, due to hard water containing a lot of dissolved minerals. Increase the bubbles you see and feel by adding the dishwashing liquid to the sink before you add the water. Make sure the tap is running at high pressure. Swish the solution with your hands to get the level of suds you prefer. Finally, use water that's 105 to 115°F (40.56 to 46.11°C). Need more help? We've got you! We did discontinue our Gain Ultra Clean +Aroma Boost Original scent dish soap in 2021 and our dishwashing liquids do only have a shelf life of 12 months, so at this time we recommend that you discontinue using that bottle.
