The product material is very good, the plastic surface feels smooth and comfortable to the touch, no bad smell. However the size is a bit difficult to fit in a small trash can. Otherwise everything is great.

My wife and I have been composting for years and using compostable bags for much of this time. We tried glad bags for the first time recently and in my opinion they are unuseable. First, it is incredibly difficult to open the bag as both sides are stuck together. As I struggle to open it, the bag often starts to shred in my hands. Second, once the bag is opened, it is incredibly fragile. The seams can't take any stress or bear any weight. We can no longer carry the bag from our kitchen bin to our outside bin. We now need to carry the entire kitchen bin outside and dump it onto the outside the bin. I'm this way the bag acts like a weak wrap for the food scraps, but not a bag. I won't be purchasing again.

Tears easily when opening and also with food. The tears appear along a straight line, not on seams. Has leaked a few times. Gave two stars for generous size and flat bottom. Much prefer Hefty compostable which also has a flat bottom, and has never torn.
