Verdict: Not as durable as it has to be for the price. Pros : Size is big compared to all other dinner plates (even Corelle round plates are smaller compared to this) due to which I bought these plates Cons: Chips very easily on the edges making it dangerous to use as dinner plates. Usage: I have been using these plates for past 2 years and 2 of those almost chipped within 4 months of normal usage. My Experience with glass plates: I have been using a Corelle set for past 10 years without any damage due to normal usage. Same household same handling -but corelle definitely wins over these plates for its durability.

Really liked these plates at first but within 6 months 3 plates have broken from everyday, recommended use and the sides chip easily just from being in the dishwasher. Better off washing by hand even though dishwasher is suppose to be safe.

These are not a good value and they break too easily. You’re better off buying a couple of plates at a thrift store.

The plates literally shattered when I put hot food on them . Not safe at all. Should be recalled . Dangerous! Do not buy these plates

Good plates if you’re just looking for something practical. Look is okay, not awful! Great if you’re on a budget or looking for something inexpensive.

These plates look very modern and minimalist. I really like the slight slope up around the edges so that sauce heavy foods don’t fall off. I deduced a star because the plates are slipperier than a wet bar of soap. There’s a slight anti-slip coating on the bottom, but it is not even close to enough. And one of the plates had a chip when I opened the box, so I hope that’s not a sign of a bigger issue. But I am happy with them!

I have these plates as well as the matching small and large bowls, and at least one of each set has shattered when exposed to heat. Attaching a photo of the plate cracking as soon as I placed a fried egg on it. My bowls have shattered in the microwave too. Such a shame because I like how clean and simple the design is as well as how it's dishwasher friendly.

Fulfilling our minimalistic lifestyle. They are STURDY and gorgeous in and out of the cabinet. Don’t take up as much room as other sets and not they are not overwhelming to own. We have replaced all of our toxic hearth and hand with this set.

Best plates. Replaced all my plastic plates with these. Cheap plates and don’t leave scratch marks.

On the first day I poured warm pasta on this plate for dinner. I turned to wash my pan and heard a loud "POP". The plate had cracked in half while sitting on the counter. I have used Corelle glass plates for decades. There is no excuse for the Target brand to fail before the first day.

Plate broke after first wash in the dishwasher. I am very concerned about the other plates , will they break while eating or washing by hand or when picking them up from the dishwasher. I am not even talking about microwave, I am not comfortable putting them in the microwave.

Plates broke in microwave and dishwasher first week or two of use. Total waste of money.

Affordable but…these plates are very fragile, honestly too fragile. If you are able to spend a little more on plates I’d suggest doing so for a long term investment otherwise you’ll be cleaning up shards of glass and need to buy new plates.

Broke after one wash in the dishwasher. It didn’t band against any other dishes, it wasn’t dropped, it wasn’t put in the oven. I think these plates just can’t handle any heat.

This is such a beautiful plate. You can use it for any type of dining setting. We use this to plate snacks or fruit for after dinner. The plate is well made and great quality. I would like to get more of the same design for the house.

Wanted to love these. Needed a plate that was sturdy that could go in the dishwahser or microwave. One was broken in the middle of the stack when I opened the package. Another broke 2 weeks later.

I don’t really have anything I dislike about this plate. It is a nice glass dinner plate, and I like how it has upturned edges, but that they aren’t too long or make the plate resemble a bowl. I found recently that that is more of the style these days and I just don’t prefer that. The plate is pretty large, since it measures over 10 inches, but I feel that it is a very nice size for family holidays or special occasions. I don’t know how often I will use it for a regular night’s dinner, but I do think it looks very nice and is plain enough to be used for bigger family meals. Especially with the size of the plate, it would work perfectly for Thanksgiving considering how much you could fit on a 10 inch plate. It worked just fine in the dishwasher and was pretty safe. It is not too heavy despite the material it is made of, and I enjoy the aesthetic look of it. Overall, I would recommend this dinner plate to anyone because it is such a plain design that it will work for basically anything. It is very sturdy, with good craftsmanship and design, and I don’t have any doubts that it will last me a while.
