This is a great foam roller. The size is perfect and it isn't too firm

I use it to work out the kinks in my back. Firm but not painfully so.

Just received my foam roller. It seems to be good quality and I was very excited to use it but... the laminated exercise book that is pictured on the box and clearly marked "included" is NOT included! The book was a key reason I decided to purchase. Really a disappointment!

I bought this for my mom who lives out of state. She's constantly complaining about her back being out of alignment. She's 90 years old and says that hanging from the park monkey bars helps her alot! So I decided to get his for her as I was quite sure this would be safer...lol. My mom says she loves it and uses regularly. I have one of these myself and I love it.

Very similar foam roller to the ones used at Lifetime Fitness or other hometown gyms. No issues.

DID NOT COME WITH THE DVD! The foam roller is great! When I shopped online I looked at several different rollers and chose this one because of the reviews and it advertised coming with a DVD. When I received my package it came with a small booklet approximately 10-15 roller exercises with pictures, but no DVD. I thought I must have just been mistaken so I came back to website and it does state that it includes a core workout dvd? Fortunately, there are hundreds of YouTube videos online demonstrating techniques and exercises. Therefore, I gave only two stars for value because it did not include the DVD, four stars for ease of use because I had to figure it out on my own, but five star for performance because it works and I love foam rolling!

Works well for rolling out sore muscles

This roller is great. It has been very helpful in relaxing the muscles in my back. It arrived very quickly as promised, even during the holidays!

Purchased the foam roller about 3-4 wks ago and did so because my personal trainer recommended it. I'm a landscaper and I'm training to run my first 1/2 marathon and my ITbands are tight along with other muscles in my legs as well as my gluts & hips. This roller has made a world of difference in my running and in massaging my muscles before/after work. Would definitely recommend one if you are a runner!

I've spent the last year dealing with chronic knee and hip pain (same leg), doc visits, anti-inflammatory drugs, and working around my "trouble" spots at the gym. Yesterday I met with one of the trainers to discuss amping up my regimen, and when he heard I was a runner (before all this)he pulled out a foam roller, had me lie on my side, and roll it down the outside of my thigh. He made it look easy and I'm in pretty decent shape, so no biggie, right. WRONG! It felt like I was bruising my leg! He then explained why it felt that way and how using a foam roller would help work the knots out and lengthen the tight muscles that are contributing to (if not causing) my knee pain. Even though they sold them at my gym for the same price, he specifically recommended this brand at Target, because he wanted me to have the dvd. I used it last night and I'm sore this morning but willing to push through the discomfort if it brings relief. Great product--and way less expensive than doctors and meds!

I found this roller and DVD combo to be the perfect antidote to my mounting marathon training injuries. The DVD provides quick, easy to follow instruction to get started using a foam roller. I previously owned a larger, firmer roller and a companion book. Combined, they cost twice as much and did not provide practical instruction. 20 minutes with this DVD provided enough tips and examples to effectively use the roller and get some much needed relief.

Although this may not be as nice as some of the more expensive rollers with uneven surfaces, it gets the job done well for the price. Like others have said, it hurts so good! Using the roller feels like getting a massage without the expense or time commitment. After using the roller for a few weeks, I have recommended them to just about everyone I know. The video is actually terrific in my opinion, since it shows you what to do quickly. I only had to watch it twice to get the different leg stretches memorized.

Great product. I to wish the video was a bit more. I tend to watch and pause, and then do so many reps. The foam roller has really helped massage my muscles. I am a runner and this has been great for me. It hurts to use, but feels wonderful afterwards.

It does hurt super bad but after you keep with it you loosen up and it doesn't hurt so much. I think this product is great and I think the DVD is helpful to learn all the exercises. I just wish the DVD had a routine you could follow. The DVD just shows you how to do the exercise once and then quickly moves on. I needed to press pause quite often.

I believe it is important to watch the video and do some on line research before you use this. My physical therapist recommended one for one specific stretch. I now use for everything I can. It's great, but you may be sore when you first start. Drink lots of water to wash the toxins out of your body and don't over do it.
