Q: Used this lotion for the first time tonight. Extremely greasy! Lotion started to ball up if I touched my arms. Little lotion balls were all on my shirt. Is this normal? Did I put too much on?

A: That’s your skin already exfoliating. You still might be using too much if it seems greasy. The exfoliation will continue until your skin feels silky. I’m 69 years old, and my skin is extremely soft. After going camping and not showering for a couple days, I still have an issue with skin “rolling” several minutes after applying the lotion. e.g. rubbing your leg and getting creamy rolls of lotion and skin. This is amazing cream if you want to have smooth, soft skin! I’ve been using it for 4 years.

I may be wrong but I swear I heard somewhere that there are times when lotion seems to be exfoliating it is that your skin has absorbed enough moisture from a product and the rest really is just excess. Regardless, my skin is extremely dry and bumpy it is so much better using this product.

Q: Can this be used on the face as well? Has anyone tried? I've noticed that i have "chicken skin" on my chin within the last couple of years. I've tried face masks, microdermabrasion at home, and nothing seems to help so I thought I'd try this for awhile.

A: I have been using this on my 2 year old for the last 3 months and have seen a HUGE improvement in her KP bumps. Her pediatrician initially told me to use AmLactin but that smells strong and can cause the skin to sunburn easily. I wanted something effective but more gentle and this did it!

If you have skin that is slightly chapped, do not use! It burns, and it burns bad. I've been a chef most my life and can take some pain on my hands, but this is something that will make your heart pump while you wait the 5 minutes for the burning feeling to go away. I would not market this to people as dry skin therapy, they would be paying a premium price for a product that will surprisingly burn and nit fix much of their dry skin problems.

The thick, creamy formula absorbs well without feeling greasy, and the AHA, BHA, and PHA exfoliants work over time to soften rough patches, especially on arms and legs. I noticed a difference in a few weeks, with my skin feeling much smoother and more hydrated. The only downside is that it has a slight medicated scent, but it fades quickly. If you struggle with keratosis pilaris or dry, bumpy skin, this is definitely worth trying!

Since I hit the age of 40 I started to get extremely dry skin that to me felt gross. I got this and I had some much dry skin rub off. I took a shower to get the rest off of me. Then afterwards I reapplied. I just wish this could be found in a bigger bottle! I absolutely love this lotion.

This product doesnt have a scent. We use this for when we get the bumpy arms and legs and it works on the “chicken skins” the packaging is just like any other creams in a tub, nothing special.

I have been using this product since a month on a bumpy skin. This cream forms a layer on top of my skin and if I rub it at the end of the day it peels off like an exfoliator. But my bumps are the same, they haven’t lessened.

This product truly improved the softness and smoothness of my skin. While it didn’t completely resolve the bump issue, its exfoliating and hydrating properties are excellent. I recommend giving it a try if you have dry skin.

Was skeptical that a moisturizer would be able to help with skin texture while also being moisturizing enough that another product wasn’t necessary but what a surprise when this affordable option came into my life! Has a pretty bland scent but isn’t a bad one or overly fragrant, and moisturizes enough to last my very dry skin all day! Definitely recommend.

I went through 8 tubs and used to call it my holy grail. I would buy multiple at a time! Well I don’t know what they did to it but the last 2 tubs have not helped my KP at all and in some ways seems to have made it worse. Why would a company change the formula to something that had such a big following???

I bought my second tub of Gold Bond rough and bumpy but it wasn’t the same the first tub looked like a clear vasoline and the second one looked like white cream that doesn’t work as good as the first, why change the formula?

As a lifelong suffer of rough and bumpy skin, especially on the back of my arms and certain parts of my legs, I never thought I would ever find anything that would actually work and remove these rough and bumpy spots. I just happen to see gold bonds, rough, and bumpy Skin and I decided I was going to give it a try. On the container, it says visibly improve bumpy skin and just one hour. That is the honest truth! I tried it and I actually found relief for my bumpy skin. After using it for one week, I had very smooth skin on the back of my arms, which never in my entire 69 years of life, have I ever had relief but they were gone! My legs looks smoother without the bumpy and I am very, very happy with this product. I highly recommend Goldbond rough and bumpy skin with seven moisturizers +3 vitamins to anyone who has the problems with rough and bumpy skin.
