A: Hi Cal, these lids are leak resistant as the vent in the top could still leak if the containers are tipped over.

Not worth the money spent! They are hard to screw on and almost always take 2 or more try's to even get it to start to go on right. They leak! That vent on the top, in theory, was a good thing. To be a good thing, it would need to not leak. I purchased 2'sets and none of them will hold liquid.

This showed twelve pieces with lids - the actual package is only 6 pieces with 6 lids. Was not happy to get the smaller package. Bad marketing for sure.

For meal preparation I use the containers to fill with chopped up vegetables. For leftovers, I find it useful for soups! The lids screw on and off easily. The lids even have a little place to open to vent if the food item is warm. They are sturdy and hold up well to being washed. I love how well the containers stack in my cabinets.

This one has the steam air vent that I like to. They’re easy to clean. Not sure if you are supposed to throw them in the dishwasher but I do haha

I like that they are BPA-free for safe food storage. They are very durable and are dishwasher safe. I also like that they have measurement markings on the side and that the twist-off lid is vented. First of all, they’re really great at stacking and saving space and the lids are nice and bright and pretty thick and easy to find. The plastic is not flimsy at all, and your foods are secure.  There’s even a little safety release valve on the top that’s for a gas exchange, which is really helpful when putting hot foods in but also great for fermenting foods if you want. The lid twist on easy and tight

I have some I've used in my pantry for dry goods and then others I have used for leftovers or sending my oldest daughter food in her lunch at school with the smaller containers. I love the narrow grip in the middle for easy opening, even for my 6 year old, and the flip tab on top that allows airflow if anything gets heated up. They stack and store easily in my cabinet and don't take up room. The other thing that is great is that the lids are a universal fit for all 6 containers, so no fumbling to find the right sized lids. I washed them in the dishwasher(top rack only), and they held up in there with no issues.
