I'm happy with the phone. I previously had a Pixel 2xl so waited a long time for a new phone. Camera is good. Battery life is very sufficient. Wish it had come with a USB C to A cable for the car. Other than that, it's a great phone at a decent price.

Google does a decent job with the O/S, and the hardware is less expensive than their competitors at Samsung, but there is still room for improvement. My Pixel 6 has experienced numerous connectivity issues with my bluetooth devices. I've had several instances where i had to restart the phone just to use the phone. Either being unable to accept a call or make a call when the callers could hear me, or me them. This has happened at least 3 or 4 times in the last month of ownership. They still have not fixed the issue of notifications when connected to Bluetooth. If you have a bluetooth device, such as a headset, connected and get a text notification, or an app notification, you will not hear the notification unless you have the earpiece on the headset connected. This is terrible performance. Just because I connect my headset, does not mean I'm wearing it 24/7, and it's annoying to have to turn it off when not using it, just for this reason.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was super easy to get started. Just took it out of the box and insert my sim card and started the set up process. It was pretty quick and painless. I love the design of the phone and how the cameras are set up. The only trouble, I ran into, is that, it doesn't have the 3 tabs (like the home screen tab, apps tab, back tab), on the bottom of the screen like my older phone. So, it's something I'm still getting used to. Other than that it's pretty easy to use and get the hang of. Both the selfie camera and the camera on the back take really good crisp pictures. I love the editing features to edit the photos. One of the cool ones I'm using a lot is the magic eraser. You can erase background people in your photos! It's super cool to use. As for the phone and apps, it's very responsive, there's no lags. Even when playing my games, it's smooth sailing. As for the battery, the phone seems to last a full day without needing to recharge. Now the battery doesn't offer fast charging, but as long as the phone last all day and some, that's all that matters to me. Overall, this phone is a great phone with lots of great specs. I definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Pixel 6 for two weeks now and I'm blown away by its performance, especially the night mode for taking photos. The software side of things is a killer feature among Google Android phones, especially considering the affordable price. A couple of other highlights for me have been the integration of Google Assistant, which can not only control all of your connected devices, but can also do things like serve as an interpreter with the live translate mode, which is amazing. While we are on the subject of live translation, you can also use Google Lens to translate text in photos, as well as messages and media you receive. It is really effective and really cool to have this much translation power in your pocket. The voice-to-text of the phone is nearly flawless and you barely need to slow down when speaking. One area that has been a bit of a struggle is the fingerprint reader under. Honestly, it operates at the level that my former Galaxy Note 21 operated, especially if I had lotion on my hands or was sweating but it's definitely not a dealbreaker. It works most of the time, but when compared directly with my previous Pixel phone, it feels like a step back but hopefully the bugs will get worked out. The back of the phone is made of Gorilla Glass which is a nice feature, especially considering I'm not a huge phone case fan. I have dropped the phone once so far on my hardwood floors and it held up nicely. One of my favorite features is the Magic Eraser which allows you to erase a person or object from a photo. Overall, I am happy with my new phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are many things to love about this phone. It has probably the best camera on a phone I've ever seen, especially the portrait mode. I've been taking pictures of my dog non-stop. The phone is also really responsive, has a great screen, and really has all the bells and whistles you could ask for. Its display is very customizable and honestly, could do it all. There are just 2 drawbacks to the phone that I've noticed. The first is the dongles and connectors that come with it in the box. It has a usb-c to usb-c cord and then a usb-c to usb dongle. Unless you already have the appropriate connections to make that work, you're going to have to go out and get a connector just to be able to charge the phone. The second drawback is that it seems to have trouble maintaining a bluetooth connection with my car. The connection will drop in the middle of a phone call, so I have to keep switching back and forth from hands-free calling. It's really annoying, but also really the only big drawback I've found with this phone.

The camera does offer some very nice 4k shots and does allow for a lot of customization. There is a cinema mode that allows for smoother, slow motion effects to give you more dramatic effects in your film. The Google Design Team has placed a good amount of thought into how the phone operates and reacts to touch. The OS is very user friendly and responds to everything with no lag or stutter. Overall, the phone is amazing and really enjoy using it. I couldn’t recommend it more highly and at the price, it is the phone to beat.

The display is bright with excellent clarity. The face of this smartphone is nothing but screen. No buttons. The cameras are high definition and take outstanding photos and videos. The phone itself feels good in the hand. It is smooth with rounded corners and has a thoughtfully designed camera placement. The rear camera spans across the top width of the phone. In a way that allows the unit to sit at a slight incline when placed down on a tabletop. This also prevents it from wobbling when using it on a flat surface. Wireless, wi-fi, and Bluetooth connectivity is strong, fast, and consistent. NFC also works well. The battery life is very good for a smartphone of this caliber. A feature that I like is the fingerprint security. Place one of your fingers or thumbs directly on the screen to unlock the phone. I do have one complaint. The power button and volume controls are on the same side of the phone. I'll get used to it. Overall, I am pleased with this smartphone and would have no problem recommending it to family and friends.

Bad: - The front side fingerprint reader is slow and less reliable than on Pixel 2. I could pick up the Pixel 2 and authenticate with the back side fingerprint reader by the time I had the phone in reading position, in one fluid motion. On this Pixel 6 fingerprint authentication is a very awkward, two step, two hand operation. It frustrates me every single time I pick up the device. One advantage to the new arrangement is that you can re-authenticate more easily when the phone is mounted on workout equipment - No more back button, by default. I found this incredibly frustrating, because the swipe gesturing conflicted with app interactions. Good news is that there's a setting to restore the back button. - I think this device is much more fragile than the Pixel 2. In summary, Pixel 6 is a beautiful device with great technical specs. With a setting change the user interface is ok I will treat mine as a fragile instrument though, not really compatible with an active lifestyle. Fingerprint Reader, causes frustration about 30 percent of the time. - Battery life nothing to get excited about. It barely lasts a day under heavy use. - Charging, need to buy a charger. Gets very warm and Speed not great - Heavy and more dangerously, very slippery. A case is a must. - Customization, little flexibility. - 5G speed is not bad.

The fingerprint sign on works half of the time. The sign on my old pixel 5 worked fast and every time. Big dissapointment moving to the pixel 6!Steve

This phone is an amazing upgrade over my pixel 2 and HTC One M8. Best camera lens and software combination hands down. Fingerprint sensor is still not great, but I am hopeful they will able to resolve that issue.

Battery power lasts most of the day, even after I was shooting a few videos. The phone has incredible workmanship, big screen size and still fits comfortably in your pocket. The speakers sound great and I've been able to save lots of music on my phone because of the 128GB of storage. I would highly recommend this phone.
