A: There is a small to it is that something to worry about or is that normal? I do like but not the smell.

I was looking for a blender with a glass cup, so this was perfect. Unfortunately it has no power. I can not add whole tomatoes or anything whole in general. I have to cut everything up and let it blend for quiet some time. I was disappointed.

So I read a lot of negative reviews, but I wanted to give my opinion. I have only had the blender for a day, but I've used it a couple of times and it blends just fine with no burning smell, as others have stated. Hopefully it won't do the burning smell thing in the future. I bought this blender for occasional use to mainly puree vegetables for soups and make smoothies. I blended frozen fruit and it handled it just fine. The only thing I don't like is the lid which as others have stated, is pretty hard to get off once fully in, but my workaround for that is just not to put the lid on all the way pressed down. Problem solved. I like that it has a glass carafe and I also love the color. It was on sale and I had circle rewards so it was practically free. Can't complain there. So all in all, it's a decent blender so far for the price.

I should of listened to reviews. The lid is stuck, 3 people tried to take it off and it would not budge. Another thing I didn’t read is glass, so be careful not to drop it.

First off, this is not a 700W blender. Based on the label on the bottom, it's 384W and I measured 350W. It might "peak" at 700W for about a hundredth of a second, but you won't be blending anything at that. Second, by the time you fill it up more than half way, expect the motor to start emitting the foulest, most pungent, offensive smell you've ever encountered. It will mask any fresh scent in your house with it's half melting plastic, half unkept livestock notes. Oh and it's loud and the lid is nigh impossible to pull off. At least it's only $30.

First off, the flip cap on the lid was broke right out of the box. The lid itself takes a blood sacrifice to get off even after a few times, it doesn't loosen up. It's not any quieter then any other blender I've heard and quickly starts to smell hot. The blades suck the most, they don't pull or move anything. Tried onions, frozen fruit, cheese and cottage cheese and yogurt for a cheese sauce, even ice doesn't get chopped up. Nothing about this blender is good, also around the blades inside is a gap that food gets stuck inside of and is a pain to clean out

I don't understand how there are so many good reviews, but my guess is that they're fake. This is by far the worst blender I've owned. Seriously. The lid is impossible to take off once you manage to put it on. If you like icy drinks, forget it. If you leave it on for a little too long, because god forbid you want an actual smooth consistency, it will start smelling like burnt. Just save your bucks and invest in a real blender like a Ninja.

I just bought this blender for the price, look, glass container and best of all, I did not get a headache from it blending, as with other blenders. I was sooo over joyed it did not blow out my ears, and did the job of mixing my smoothy very well. I just got it today (1/16) and am hoping it works for many years. I am on my way to a delightful calm morning when making my delicious smoothies. I do not need jackhammer noise prevention ear plugs when making them. Hooray!!

The lid to this blender was an abysmal. I could not get it off even with my significant other's assistance. We threw our hands up and relented to just stuffing everything through the tiny holes in the blender we could get open. We used every option to blend and our just was still very chuncky with multiple pieces intactact. This blender was straight buns. Couldn't blend soft melty Jello. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Not even worth the time trying it out.

I tried using this on semi-frozen fruit and it didn't blend well at all. It has very small blades that I think would only work on certain foods. So, would not recommend for semi-frozen fruit smoothies or anything hard-even though it says it blends ice.

It also works equally well for salsas, chopping ingredients roughly or smoothly for sauces. The glass jar makes cleaning up a snap.
