Our $700 Breville machine broke down and my husband can't survive a day without caffiene, so I purchased this machine to fill in the gap while we get the other machine serviced. I'm still shocked that you can purchase an espresso machine for under $100 these days. This machine produces more crema than the Breville, surprisingly, and the steam wand is solid. It's obviously not going to feel as solid in construction as a more expensive machine but if you're looking for something inexpensive - this certainly does the job.
