Q: I can't even get water to come out into the cups to do the initial cleaning! It's loud and leaking a bit of water out of the reservoir...so far, no good, Most likely going back if I don't get support...any guidance much appreciated!

A: Thank you for sending a replacement quickly, however, I am still having the same problem, and now I have to deal with sending the original back...and who knows about this one? I am frustrated to say the least. I placed another call, sent to voicemail again...I left a message. We will see...

Q: This will be a Christmas gift and I’m also wanting to purchase a nicer tamper. What size would work best for this machine? I’m seeing sizes from 41mm to 52mm. Any help would be appreciated.

A: Yes. The EC Select is BPA & phthalate free. Any plastic material that would touch the coffee is free of both and FDA approved grade.

Q: 2 questions: 1) The video shows 2 cups being made at same time. How do you select 1 or 2 cups? 2) What is highest cup it can accomodate?

A: You either put two cups or one cup to fit under the two outlets/ streams of coffee. It would be two smaller size or one larger size cups.

Like many, we had issues have have returned two. The first one worked and made a great espresso, but the water reservoir leaked, and drained all over the counter quickly. We exchanged and the second kind one had the same issue, but wouldn’t run water thru the machine. Will not be trying a third time

I love how small this machine is and the easiness of making it work. However, I've run into the same problem as many other buyers. The reservoir is leaking, and it's not just a small amount. I've had to wring a hand towel out twice a day. I just got the machine on Thursday 01/06. And I've only used it twice.

Purchased the first one-it didn’t work, water would not come out. Packaged it all up and returned. Ordered a second one, this time water flowed no problem. 30 minutes later, my counter was full of water. The water tank was leaking as previously mentioned by other reviews. This one also going back. Thought the first time was a fluke but there seems to be something wrong with it each time. For $100 machine I expect better quality. I noticed a trend in the last two months- the reviews on it all seem to have same issue…I think it’s time for the manufacturer to start paying attention and fix their flaws.

First one was replaced by the company...it was loud, I could not get any water/coffee to come out, as well as the tank leaking. They sent a replacement (quickly)...same exact problems with the replacement. have called the Helpline twice, got sent to voicemail, left a message and no one has called me back. One machine is going back to Target, the other is being sent back to the company. I have better things to do with my time during this holiday season.

It required some experimentation to get the coffee to brew hot enough, but eventually made a very nice espresso. The steam wand works better without the plastic sleeve. But, after less than two months, I was getting a rescaling notification. I did the descaling as recommended, twice, and it still didn’t work. capresso sent a replacement, and that wouldn’t run water at all. I think there are some quality control issues. Shame, it was a nice little machine for 7 weeks.

My daughter has this machine. And I loved it so I got one. The problem is they shipped it in a larger box with no extra packing material to keep it from getting banged around in the box. Poor packing!! And my machine leaks water from the bottom every time I use it. Also the coffee ground holder is very hard to get in and out plus the the cup inside the ground holder will sometimes get stuck up in the machine.

This is a good espresso machine, and I appreciate the compact size because I prefer my counters to be as uncluttered as possible. Using these machines is a bit of an art, but this one is mostly a streamlined process. It makes very strong espresso. I prefer to use cream over milk and the outcome is good. It's easy to refill the water, and decently easy to clean. No real complaints, and it makes a mean cup of espresso.

This machine makes amazing cappuccinos. I wake up every morning waiting to make cappuccino. The process isn’t very long and it makes tasty cappuccinos. The machine is very simple to clean and use. The quality is also great and I absolutely love everything about this machine.

This Capresso machine is great for making cappuccino or espresso. It’s very simple to use and can even froth your milk! It is a smaller machine so doesn’t take up too much countertop space which is nice!
