A: Hi thanks for reaching out. The mattress size should be at least 27.25 inches wide x 51.625 inches long and should not exceed more than 6 inches thick. The mattress should be of such length and width that the gap between the mattress and the sides of the crib is not more than 1-3/16 inches when the mattress is pushed into the corner of the crib. This is for safety reasons, ensuring no gaps.

Easy to put together even though instructions are only pictures. Took a little over an hour with only one person working on it. My biggest complaint is that after 1 use of the drawer it broke. So I now need to figure out how to get different drawer rollers on to fix it to work again.

We have purchased multiple grace products and this was by far the worst manufactured. It seems as if the baby crib department hasn't learned to use words yet. The assembly instructions are only pictures, no details on what piece is what and what it is for. What is item K for? There is a spot drilled through the frame and this K pin simply falls out because whoever made the pocket hole didn't stop and drilled all the way through the frame. This department, while maybe the most important, didn't think about providing detailed assembly written out or spare pieces. On top of poor instructions there were multiple pieces drilled that didn't even line up. How is it that you can't line up holes in an assembly? Any carpenter could easily build something so much better. One other thing they fail to show in pictures is the lack of any covering on the drawer. That leaves the drawer completely open to critters, pests, and pets getting through the bars and just nesting in the drawer since there is no covering. Who makes drawers that don't have some type of closure on top? Evidently Graco does. Expensive price for very poor quality built items.

I love things that serve more than one purpose. And that is exactly what the Asheville does! We recently converted it into a full size bed for my son who has outgrown his crib. It was simple, easy, and looks great. The color is a cherry redish brown and matched our other furniture perfectly.

This is actually our 3rd crib for 2 kids. Yes I know, I love shopping for cribs, but this one is by far my favorite! I love the design of the crib and how the back is completely closed! I think it makes the crib sleek and that much more beautiful! The drawer on the bottom is my favorite feature! Perfect for storing all of our diapering essentials!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This crib was a gift for a good friend of mine who is due in October with her 4th child. She loves the crib so far, and likes the drawer at the bottom the best. It's a very durable and well made crib, and the best thing about it is that your child can use it as a crib, toddler bed, full bed and daybed, with the conversion kit later on.
