A: It goes by weight, not necessarily by age. We have had a 1 month old and a 4 month old in ours. We just got it today, and it's a big hit!

Q: Does the swing forward and back or side-to-side? Also, does it swing too fast like one person said in the reviews?

A: It swings forward and back only. The speed of how fast it goes is controlled by, what I can only describe as a "free spinning dial" meaning there aren't notches stopping between speed levels (slowest, slow, medium, fast, fastest)... And yes, in my opinion, it swings fast at it's slowest setting.

Q: I was going to purchase this swing. However, the reviews are saying that it stops working after a couple months and the batteries corrode. has this issue been look into and if so is there a solution.

DANGEROUS! This swing just started to swing at a high speed out of no where. My baby boy almost fell out of it. I like that it's spacious but this is just to risky for my newborn. I'm afraid he may get hurt and I've also seen some suffocation risks. Please be cations when buying g this product.

This swing was so helpful with my baby that I bought a second one for my parents house. It folds up easily to tuck away when you don't need it, and is pretty easy to assemble (even with pregnancy brain). It puts my baby right to sleep and gives my arms a rest when she won't go down in her bassinet.

This is a very general basic swing, it has a switch to turn on and adjust speed on the swing. My baby didn’t like back and forth swings and only preferred the ones that swayed side to side.

Recently purchased for my son. Started off fine. This swing quickly became a dangerous hazard for my newborn. The light will start blinking/flashing and then speed up erratically to the point it becomes dangerous for any child. Model 2156182 06/30/2023

I received this as a gift at my baby shower and this swing is absolutely terrifying! Once the batteries began getting low it started swinging out of control! It was swinging faster than should be possible. It scared the daylight out of me and my daughter. I cannot believe this product hasn’t been recalled. This product needs to be taken off the market!

This swing is very dangerous. The red light will start to flash and the swing will become aggressively fast. There are several similar reviews. This swing should be recalled before something awful happens.

Wonderful! I had a version of this with my first child who’s almost 6. I loved the swing so much back then I knew I wanted another for my second. Amazing, I really like the patterns and the ease of use. The adjustable height is fantastic and super portable I can carry it wherever with one hand. I like that I can watch her while I do dishes or see her so I can take a quick shower. No noises, super quiet. Now my second is 10m and I am sad she no longer can use it but in all the time it’s been so well loved.

Very easy to strap baby in. The lowest speed seems to be plenty enough swinging, anything higher seems too fast lol. Our baby girl is 7 months now and still loves her swing. We’ve used it since about 2 months old!

The only negative is that it takes batteries and no option to plug in. This swing was very easy to put together in minutes. The print on the cushion is very cute. My big 9 month old really enjoys nap time in the swing while I get some cleaning done. The swing easily turns on and off and has a wide range of speed!
