Q: Can this go into the oven and/or broiler?

A: No.no.no. and hell no. The plastic handle just melted on the stove top. Not in direct heat source. I would not put this in the oven or on a stove top or even use it as a rain catch basin. Just no.

Q: There is a 9.5" and 10" option, what is the difference? The photos on the Greenpan website are exactly the same. Same for 11" vs 12". Do sides slope differently, or are sides taller?

A: The interior of the pan has a pillow of aluminum as it is a great heat conductor and helps the pan ti retain the heat. The exterior and interior of the Rio pans are ceramic coated.

Been using this pan for all of a week and a half now? And already omelets are sticking to it even when using liberal amounts of oil or butter. I've only ever used silicone spatulas. This is actually the second pan to do this. I got one for Christmas and thought it was just a fluke. Won't be wasting my money on this company again

This pot has been great so far. I bought it to be a popcorn pot but I have made caramel and tomato sauce in it as well and nothing has burned on or stuck. It is very easy to clean and has required no scrubbing. I'm very happy with it as I have been with my frying pan set as well.

We bought this entire set and since day one on a gas stove.the handle connectors smelled like melted plastic. And they are indeed melting. Every time we use them they get worse. What a waste of money. Why are they rated for gas stoves?!?

Great pans...I will say you very much have to pay attention to how you clean them and they heat up quicker and more uniformly than any other pan so you can cook on with lower heat and more evenly, I have enjoyed them so far. Very nice. And I love that they are safe to use and I no longer have to wonder if I am unwittingly harming myself and/or my loved ones.

The pans work exactly as advertised with medium heat being plenty to cook about anything. And non-sit k, let me tell you! Food just rolls off of them and the clean-up is mild soap and water to look like new. Super impressed!!!

This pan was great at first. After not quite 6 months it is horrible. Nothing comes off of it. We have tried everything to remove the stains. It is nonstick anymore, too. We have used different sprays and oils and everything still sticks. While it may not be a “high end” frying pan, I would have at least thought it would have lasted more than 6 months for $30. I have had pans from Ross that last longer and are seemingly better quality.

We are very sorry to hear about the issues with your cookware. This issue can be easily resolved! It is likely that you have a layer of carbonized oil built up on your pan that will create a barrier between the pan and your food. When this happens, you are basically cooking on the layer of oil as opposed to the surface of the pan. This layer may not be visible. This cleaning method has proven to be extremely successful and can be used when you notice staining and/or sticking. For the best results, please try this method twice. Once complete, you may resume normal washing with soap and sponge. Fill the pan halfway with water and bring it to a near boil for about 2 minutes. Pour out the water and place the pan on a sturdy surface such as a wooden cutting board. Carefully use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the warm surface; this should do the trick. If this does not work, please email GreenPan directly at customercare.us@greenpan.com. They are happy to help!
