This is for 5years and up. And my daughter plays it with her cousins. It is a strategy and creative game. They had so much on it.

It’s about 3 pieces of cardboard and the pieces for 3 players. My 3 year old liked to play and understood the game.

The game pieces are sturdy and appear that they will last a while and it was easy to follow the direction of the game once we got through the first round.

It’s fairly simple to play yet really fun and engaging and my kids have been spending hours with this toy. I also love that the rules are easy to follow and even my 4 year old can play without much parent involvement. The quality of the playing figures is also really great and seems to be durable, which is important since kids can be tough on their toys.
Great option for family game night!

The written instructions included with the game weren’t very clear as to how to set up the game. It wouldn’t be possible for kids to set up and play correctly on their own. Only after watching a video on YouTube were we able to know how to set up the game. Once we got it set up, it was a fun strategy game. We had Players from ages 5 to 40 play and everyone loved it.

There’s a slight strategy to this game that my kid is starting to catch on. The instructions are also clear and easy to follow. It’s a great family game.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys love having a family game night and Water Dragons will be a regular addition. The game is easy to set up and easy to understand. It is for ages 5+ which seems to be spot on. My kids are ages 6 & 8 and they both immediately understood the game play. It is pretty simple, roll the dice up to 3 times, choose the card that corresponds to the color on the dice, and move your pieces accordingly. It is more of a "luck of the roll" game rather than skill, although decisions still must be made when using the 2x card or the star card. The game allows the player to roll up to 3 times, but the decision can also be made to take one of the 1st two rolls, or chance a 3rd, and possibly bad roll. I really loved the quality of the game pieces, as they are wooden carved dragons and bright board game colors. It wasn't a game that dragged on, and I would say we finished each game in about 30 minutes. My kids love the game and I definitely recommend it to both kids and adults.

Dice and wooden dragon pieces are made of real wood! It’s great for kids to de slop basic counting skill, strategic thinking, turn-taking and social skills. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun little game that was simple enough for my 5.5 year old to catch on to. The pieces are wooden and the board and dice are well made and quick to set up to play. It can be a little frustrating for younger kids to not be able to move their pieces Ed forward for several turns as the dragons bodies have to stay in order, but the game pace moves pretty fast. I think overall it took us 15 Minutes to play a round. Our whole family will like continuing to play Water Dragons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HABA Water Dragons game has been a big hit in our house! It’s designed for 2-4 players and is just the right level of challenge for ages 5-8. The setup is simple: each player picks a wooden water dragon (made of 3 pieces) and races across the ocean board to reach Dragon Bay. The game includes wooden dragon pieces and a wooden die, no plastic, which I appreciate since we already love HABA’s quality wooden toys. Gameplay is easy to learn but engaging. Players roll the die to move different parts of their dragon, with color coded cards that decide how far each part can go. There’s a bit of strategy involved to keep dragon pieces from overtaking each other, which adds a fun challenge. My kids were hooked from the start and have been playing several rounds since we opened it. It’s a fantastic mix of luck and strategy that keeps them excited to play!

He’s a big dragon lover, so this was a huge hit! The game goes pretty quickly so it’s easy to keep kiddos attention during. The quality of the pieces are great, but do keep in mind if you have small toddlers or infants around that there are small pieces so be sure they aren’t left out. Overall, I definitely recommend this game for all ages 5+!
