Perfectly sized to fit a 9 inch pizza, but not too big to be a countertop mainstay, the Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven’s five cooking settings gives you the flexibility to make just about anything. It does a decent job toasting and reheating. The reason for only 2 stars is the stainless steel above the glass door has heat discoloration. I've only used the toaster oven for toasting and baking (mostly reheating at a moderate temperature). I've never used it for broiling or even high-temperature baking. I sent Hamilton Beach an e-mail abo that, along with a photo showing the unsightly burn discoloration. It offered no redress, said the discoloration is ordinary wear and tear. I was very disappointed it didn't stand behind its product. I've had other stainless toaster ovens that didn't have this. I thus believe it's a Hamilton Beach design flaw rather than normal wear and tear.

Photos show both sides of a slice of bread - by time the top is toasted properly, the under side is burnt. Also, the range on the dial for toasting is so tiny that you can't set it for what you want -- just have watch and take it out before (you hope) the bottom burns. Basically useless for toasting bread, which is what we use a toaster oven for most often.

I like have knobs vs digital. Toasting bread and it turns out very well. Wasn’t sure due to the smaller size, a limit of counter space it fits perfectly. It is small, not sure a pizza would fit or a large baking dish, but It has a great performance.

This was my first toaster oven I've owned, I've only made pizza in it so far and it turned out great. My only complaint is if you need to go past 30 minutes on the timmer you have to reset it once the 30 minutes are up, but it's not a big deal breaker.

The is the worse oven.The lid is so small you put your hand in to get the pan and burn the top of your hand.There is no pans small enough to put in there. I wish I never spent the money on this oven.The broiler never shuts off so everything burnt on top .It is sits on the counter top and is never used.

The like to have chicken nuggets, pizza rolls and pizza and those are just not that tasty cooking them in the microwave. This comes with a bake pan so I don't have to worry about finding a pan that will fit this toaster oven. This cooks the foods nicely without making them soggy. It gives food a nice crisp outer edge and fits enough to fit my 2 kids while cooking their food just the way they like it. This is also perfect for breakfast items. It is big enough to fit what I need as well as small enough to not take up too much space.

It’s been years since I owned one or even thought of it. I was excited to give it another chance. The ability to make 4 slices of toast at once was great. We tend to use it more for the “oven” feature, though. It heats up fast! My teenager is still a bit leery about using the regular oven to make himself food, but is very comfortable using our Hamilton Beach toaster oven for his snacks and pizzas. My husband and I like using it as well. It doesn’t take long to cook things. The bagel and broil options are great! Cleanup is a breeze with the slide out crumb tray.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little addition to my kitchen; it's a bit larger than our toaster was, but does so much more. Bake, broil, toast; there are 5 different settings, plus a temperature control and timer. The tray on the bottom is for catching crumbs, there's also a rack with a tray that can be slid in and out in case you cook something that might bubble over. I use it most mornings for toasting a bagel while I fix a cup of coffee.

It has advantages of both a toaster and a small oven. The Compact design also saves countertop space offers easy placement. The oven preheats pretty quickly and holds the temperature very well. For baking things I experimented with it and it did a good job, sometimes I found it was better to cook at 25 degrees less than the package said, it turned out better. This is perfect for a dorm, or small family, you don't have to heat the big oven up for something small.

It is very easy to use. The toaster oven is very easy to clean on the inside and out. I love that it came with a crumb tray, bake pan and oven rack. The knobs have a safety feature that needs to be pressed in, in order for you to turn the knobs. This is ideal for my family since my kids like to sit on the counters while we cook and they like to play with the appliances at times. The food warms up and gets toasted beautifully.

I have made 4 slices of toast and they came out great. Last night I baked potatoes and they also came out great. I know that this oven will come in handy in the summer months and over the holidays when a little extra oven space is needed. I would say this appliance is a nice addition to my kitchen.

It says it holds four slices of bread but I could only get two with space around each piece. It still has a large area. I like the different modes of cooking and the choices of cooking. Baking, bagel, broil, toast and one other. The manual does warn about the outside getting warm. It is wise to keep children away from the toaster as the manual warns. I had a similar toaster many years ago and this is so much better than that one. This is a fine choice of a toaster oven.
