Each piece is well made and the processor comes with everything you need to use it. I love the size of this food processor! It holds a lot of food, but it doesn’t take up a lot of real estate on my counter! Using the processor is really easy too. There are 4 buttons. One for low, one for high, one for pulse and one to turn it off. Very straightforward! It is easy to twist the lid on and off too. I like that it can be hand washed or washed in my dishwasher! It is very easy to clean. I highly recommend this food processor!!

Processes tough ingredients with a 500 watt motor to ensure all your needs. With the big mouth feed chute you're able to fit most whole foods. The two bowl sizes are great for any foods that you want to process. Easy instructions are enclosed. It fits nicely on counter tops with suction cups at base to prevent slippage. Washes up nice with warm soapy water. The cord storage is deep and located on back.

I had a little difficulty getting everything locked in to stay put. It unlocked itself a couple of times while I was trying to shred cabbage. Probably will get easier with use. The pictures helped me line up my unit safely for operation. I was in need of grating some carrots. I put some cut carrot sticks in and pulsed once. Wow a great start and results of tiny pieces! Then I pressed low quickly and my carrot sticks were chopped up perfectly! It would have taken me much longer to do this by hand. I used this to make homemade noodles as I usually cut in the cold hard butter into the flour by hand. And my word it was so fast and smooth and took about 30 minutes off of the time to make them. Game changer I tell you. Great suction cups on the bottom that holds it in place as well. The grater blade shredded a block of cheese in a blink I love this machine. Everything snaps into place very tightly and it is large enough to complete any recipe.

I appreciate its safety locks that prevent my trying to use it before it’s fully secured. The large and small food pusher are nice features to help add to the bowl contents mid-cycle and the the Lo, Hi, and Pulse buttons give you complete control. I have found the reversible slicing/shredding disc to be a big time saver over the traditional 4-sided manual hand graters. As a large test of its strength, we used the mixing blade to mince some thick chicken and light parsley to make our own chicken nuggets. Some of the enclosed video and photos shown various stages of the project, to help you anticipate how it might work in your own kitchen. The instruction booklet offers plenty of advice, including the opportunity to register your product through a QR code and be entered in a draw for their website. A simple reminder is to always wipe down the upper portion of the Motor Shaft to avoid any potential cross contamination if you are using raw meats. The thought of using a food processor seemed too complicated to me. And then the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Duo food processor changed my mind. Its wide opening is perfect for large veggies like whole tomatoes or bell peppers. No need for pre-cutting unless you want to take out the seeds. Toss your veggies in, use your appropriately sized food pusher (there are two), and that’s it. I’ve been using this food processor to chop, mix, slice, and shred almost everything, and it handles it all like a pro. Making hummus? Done in a flash. Need to shred a block of sharp cheese? Incredibly easy. Nut butter? Not a problem. My husband is a huge fan of nut butter, but I wasn’t ever able to make it for him. A lot of online recipes state the creamy texture from nut butter comes about after 15 minutes of pulsing. With this food processor, the time was shorter. We timed it, and a mixture of almonds, butter toffee almonds, and pecans became creamy after only 8 minutes. It chopped the nuts crazy fast. Walnuts and pistachios took about two minutes longer to cream with a little olive oil. Still easy and fast, but the amazing thing is that the motor didn’t get hot after 10 minutes of continuous use. We still let it rest for about four minutes though per instructions found in the booklet. So, there are three speeds. Normally, a person would want more. It comes with a 4-cup bowl for smaller batches and a large 12-cup bowl for when guests are coming over to watch football and you need a ton of zesty salsa and chip dip in a pinch. The length of the cord is ample enough you don’t have to keep it up against the wall, and the chord tucks right into the base. This kitchen workhorse is straightforward to use. There’s a safety lock but there’s a sticker that shows how to unlock it as well and icons on the cup bowl itself. The controls are simple, easy to press, and the ‘high’ and ‘low’ buttons stay on once pushed in. The Pulse button is only ‘on’ for as long as you push it. Cleaning the food processor is fast, since the parts are dishwasher safe. I also appreciate the large suction cups on the bottom of the base. It doesn’t wobble or move around on the counter, even when I’m working with tougher ingredients. It’s quick, dependable, and makes cooking organic food way easier.
