With the Hamilton Beach® Stainless Steel Custom Grind™ Coffee Grinder, it's easy to grind just the right amount of coffee beans to the perfect grind size for your coffee, whether you need coarse ground coffee for French Press, medium grind for drip coffee or finely ground for espresso. Simply turn the patent pending adjustable selection ring to choose your grind size and cups of brewed coffee to make between 4 and 14 cups. To grind coffee hands-free, just press the top of the grinder and release. It grinds coffee while sitting stably on a countertop or table, then shuts off automatically when done. To manually control the grind size, just press the top and hold down. Release to stop grinding. The removable grinding bowl makes it easy to pour coffee into your coffee maker, and it's dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. The coffee grinder is designed for long-lasting performance with durable stainless steel grinding bowl and blades. The item arrived just in its original box. It was not wrapped up and placed in a second box for protection. The item arrived damaged with a huge dent on the side, so I returned it. As I was coming on here to give my review, I noticed there was another review. Unfortunately, they tried purchasing this item through Target three times with the item arriving damaged. Maybe this product works well if purchased through a different company.

The item is probably fine but it’s the way it was shipped that’s a problem. You can only buy this product online not in the store. I liked the features on this one more than the ones that were carried in store as well as the look of the grinder. Very snazzy. I was ordering it as a gift for a coffee loving friend. Sadly each time I ordered it to be shipped to home Target decided to ship in its original box instead of inside a second box. So the first time I called customer service I let them know how it arrived (badly beat up with holes in the box and crushed on one side) and let them know it was a gift so this wouldn’t do especially in this condition as well as the fact that it had non removable shipping labels all over the box. I specifically requested the replacement they offered be shipped inside another box. When the replacement arrived, it was in the same condition as the first and in its original box looking like it had been through a war zone. Again, I called customer service because since this was a replacement I couldn’t get a refund or return it. I paid for a third one after they refunded the second and explained the entire situation again. Third one shipped and it arrived the same way - origin as l box, crushed, but this time as a bonus there were things rattling inside. Again customer service and they refunded it. I will not be reordering again because apparently no one is listening. I even Emailed Customer service with photos and an explanation and no one will listen. I’m giving up on online ordering for a while as a result. Very disappointed.
