Hape Quadrilla Wooden Marble Run DIY Construction: Race To The Finish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great toy. They can build the toy as they want and have ideas how to help them do it. It does fall apart kind of easy though and the kids get frustrated. But my kids are also young and aren’t that coordinated.

We have played with it numerous times and had a blast as with the kids. Its fun to set up, and the pieces are sturdy, use your imagination for endless fun.

It's a blast when the racer are on the go around the track. The excitement is so great. Recommended to all my friends and family.

I grew up with several wooden toys myself, so I'm glad my daughter can have the same experience. The set is very fun and makes you use your thinking skills to assemble. Her and her friends have been having a blast and it really entertains the kids for quite some time. We have found it to be a bit shaky but not terrible. The set itself is small however there are several add-ons that can be purchased.

I wish it had magnets in it or something to make it a little more sturdy. I end up building the same set several times a day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys love marbles so they really enjoy this toy. It is pretty sturdy and stays together most of the time unless they get to rough with it then sometimes it falls apart. It’s a good toy for kids having their imagination.

After I set it up once, I gave them the instructions and the pieces, and they were involved for hours making different configurations. I love that they could play with it without me having to remake it each time it fell over, and they had so much fun with it together! Would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked out the Race To The Finish set for my youngest, who is almost 4, but the entire family has been enjoying the fun. We have family race tournaments; everyone has their favorite marble that they swear is the fastest. My 15 year old has perfected his announcer voice and the youngest is the current champion. There are plenty of pieces included and we all take turns creating different tracks. This toy is easy to assemble, take apart, and reconfigure. I really like that most pieces are solid wood and I feel it will last for years. It really is so much fun for the whole crew.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a spin off of the old plastic tube/marble tower from the 80s/90s. It is easy to put together and made of wood which is long lasting. It is slightly limited in the amount of pieces so there isn't a ton of variability in what the track looks like.... but overall a nice product.

It definitely helps with teaching your little one preposition as well and how to use critical thinking to move things that gives then the correct out come very easy to use and comprehend comes with instructions as well that shows you a few cool builds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free product of Hape - Race to the Finish from tryitsampling and I loved how easy is to put it together and the variety of designs. The book shows you three of them, but there is also an app to find more ideas and designs. This is a very nice toy for creativity and the material quality is really good. The only thing that may need improvement is the propeller. It get stuck and sometimes doesn't spin. I also like that the marbles has different routes in one design. So, it's a surprise were the marble is going to come out. In general this is a very nice toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No flashing lights, no loud annoying sounds and no batteries! This, race to the finish by hape, is just good, clean fun. I did get this for my 3 year old, but he's never unsupervised with him being under the reccomended age. He hasn't tried to even put a marble in his mouth, but I'm still not Taking a chance. Now after that little disclaimer, why I like this toy, or in better terms why my son likes this toy. I really thought this toy was gonna be hard to assemble, but each block is color coded and the pictures are very detailed, It actually just took me a couple of minutes. Each block has a unique design to allow different features. Is some allow the marble to pass through and others block it, And one has a little spinny wheel so you don't know which direction it's gonna go. The booklet inside shows you what each block does and gives you several models to mimic. This allows you to try a variety of stunts with your marbles. My son loves the cause-and-effect. He loves being able to drop the marble in a hole and who knows where it's gonna go. My only con against this race To the finish by hape, Is that with it being blocks they don't really like interlock with each other. so if he does accidentally bump into it or lean on it too hard it will fall over. Luckily it is super easy to put back together, The 2nd time I really didn't even need the directions to help it just made sense. And all the little blocks came organized and the marbles come in a little satchel, so you don't lose them. It's a very well-thought-out toy and I'm sure it has numerous benefits to your child playing with it. My child loves simpler toys and I do too, its way better for their development.

We had a plastic one that the kids hated playing with, and we eventually gave it away. This one, the blocks are so fun and interactive. The blocks lock into each other, and each one does something different, so you never know what's going to happen to your marble. My kids are able to configure this in so many ways without help, and they absolutely love it.

It is nice to watch and to engage with others in more hands on play. This would make a nice gift that lasts for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My whole family is having so much fun with Race to the Finish by Hape. This is a Quadrilla marble run construction. You can design different races with the 28 pieces. Made with good quality material. The simple but fun concept is perfect for the whole family to enjoy. It's great for kids 4 & older. The colors & hand eye coordination skills are working to get to Race to the Finish. I find this to be great at getting the family together and enjoying the laughter of winning the race.

My 5 year old is able to make his own tracks and helps my 2.5 to throw the marbles into the track. The parts are made from high quality wood and painted in beautiful colors. They assemble easily enough for my boys to put them together on their own. Only thing we don't like about it is that the parts don't snap together into place so it makes it easy to tip over which can be frustrating for young kids. Still with that my kids love it and have shared hours of fun with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were so excited to build and play with this maze. After playing with it and setting it up with temp I find it as frustrating as they do. The block dont connect, just rest on each other which makes it very easy to knock over. Then you have to keep rebuilding or adjusting because the blocks spin on themselves. The way it’s designed the marbles can literally fall out of the blocks in any direction so...Only half the time it goes through the maze properly. This really aggravated my kids because they just wanted it to go through the maze. They hated having to chase the marbles on the floor or finding ways to catch the marbles the times they didn’t go through the maze properly. This is for 4 and up and I can’t imagine any parent would enjoy playing with something they have to constant reconstruct then chase instead of being able to sit and enjoy the smiles on their kids watching the marbles go through a maze over and over again.
